San Vincenzo - the heart of Tuscany on the Etruscan Coast
Tuscany is a picturesque region full of vineyards, olive groves and medieval towns built on the hills. The heart of Tuscany is the town of San Vincenzo on the west coast of Italy. This part of the region is famous primarily for sailing, excellent wines and excellent olives. San Vincenzo is part of the province of Livorno and lies approximately 130 km southwest of Florence. The town is located on the stretch of coast known as Costa Etrusca (Etruscan Coast) . The name was given in honor of the first settlers. San Vincenzo is considered one of the best sailing ports in the region.
