We are starting registration for the third camper trip to Sexten. This year, participants will enjoy skiing, hiking, Pockl competitions, relaxing in the pools and evening evening integration during dinner. This year we also decided to organize a joint ski-tour tour with a guide.

Saturday, March 11, 2023

The Winter Week at Caravan Park Sexten starts on Saturday. Please register at the reception, where you will receive a map of the campsite and you will be allocated a camping pitch. The lot will be available from 12:00 noon.

Arrival at Caravan Park Sexten

During check-in you will receive tickets that entitle you to travel by public transport for free. Before checking in and entering the plot, we recommend doing the camper service, which is located on the right side just after entering from the main street. Camper-Service is covered and you can also wash your motorhome there.

You can spend the afternoon and evening relaxing in the pools after a long journey.

Today you can spend the day skiing in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. You can take the ski slope that runs along the campsite to the lift or take the free ski bus and go one stop to Signaue.

Passes can be purchased at Signaue (one bus stop from the campsite). This year the day pass costs EUR 70. At 18.00 we invite you for an aperitif by the fire (dress warmly), where you will meet the owner of the campsite, our mountain guides and other participants of the trip. an hour later we will go to a restaurant where we will have dinner.

Drei Zinnen - is a real paradise for ski touring, but our program also includes a guided hiking trip to the Klammbachalm. The walking group meets the guide in the morning in front of the Caravan Park Sexten reception. Everyone will take the ski bus to the starting point of the tour. Remember to bring your bus ticket.

Ski-touring in the Dolomites

If you want to go ski touring, you must have your own equipment. It is possible to rent equipment at the campsite, but it is necessary to book the equipment the day before at the Papin Sport rental. Why? Because Papin Sport has its headquarters in the city center, and only part of the equipment is kept at the campsite. They don't have a full size chart for all skis and boots, so advance booking is absolutely essential to ensure equipment is available.

At 19.00 we will have an Italian dinner at the inn.

On this day we gather at 09.00 in front of the reception. The ski bus will take us in the morning to Val Campo di Dentro, from where we will start our trek to Rifugio Tre Scaperi. If it is possible (fresh snow) we will go in snowshoes, if not - in normal mountain shoes. Tobogganing is possible for an additional fee of approx. EUR 5-10.

Traditional food from the region can be ordered at the hostel. We especially recommend choosing canederli in butter.

We do not have any activities planned during the day on this day. You can decide whether you will spend the day actively or relax in the SPA zone. If you lack an idea to spend your time actively, we suggest that you can watch reindeers at the top of Croda Rossa, and go sledding from the top on a special track for amateurs.

A day of relaxation and a walk by torchlight

In the late afternoon, we meet our guide who will take us to the Zin Fuchs mountain hut. After a Tyrolean evening, you will return by torchlight to the Caravan Park Sexten.

In the morning, all skiers meet at the reception, from where the bus will take us to Kronplatz. If you don't ski, you can also go to Kronplatz and visit the famous Messner Mountain Museum at the top, then enjoy the views from a sun lounger at the top.

Friday March 17, 2023

Participants meet their guide in front of the main building and head up the Kreuzberg Pass together. Pöckl Trophy race - parallel special slalom on ski stools.

Racing on stools

Guaranteed armpit fun for everyone. After the race you can refresh yourself with white sausages, pretzels and beer. After the race, it will be best to relax in Meridiana SPA - you can choose from steam saunas, swimming pools, whirlpools enriched with minerals and massage.
