Fans of rivalry combined with fun can prove themselves in the competition organized by Camping Nad Lipnem. This is a race in which you can only hitchhike and on foot.
The love of traveling can manifest itself in many ways. Some people sit comfortably in the plane, and in a short time find themselves in a luxurious hotel. Others prefer bus trips, others pack their families into the car and set off. There is also a large group of people who like to explore the world by hitchhiking. This style of traveling requires courage and great openness - each day you get to know other people and experience completely different situations.
Adventurers will surely be interested in the race organized by Camping "Nad Lipnem" in Stęszewo near Poznań . The prize is a free stay at the campsite.
Hitchhiker race - rules
There are a few simple rules for the competition. It starts on June 27 at 15:00 and ends 9 hours later at 00:00. Participants start from anywhere in Poland. An acceptable means of transportation is hitchhiking and your own legs. 2-person teams from all over the country can take part in the race. The main limitation is age - participants can be adults, not older than 30 years. This is due to the fact that the race ends the school year and begins the holiday period.
In order to take part in it, several conditions must be met: by 20 June 2014, apply for the competition (by e-mail, at [email protected]), cross the finish line within a specified time, and then register at the campsite reception.

The winners of the race will be 32 people (16 teams - 1 from each province) who will reach their destination in the shortest time and present the organizers with a card documenting their hitchhiking trip. As mentioned above, the reward is a free stay at the campsite from June 27-29 .
There will also be prizes for the best dressed teams - 3 places.
The competition organizer does not reimburse participants for the costs of reaching and returning from the event. The stay must be paid in advance (from June 27 to June 29, 2014), and the cost of accommodation for 2 people and setting up your own tent for 2 days is PLN 30. We organize meals on our own.
Holiday Autostop Race - Lipno 2014 program
The party at the campsite is not just limited to the hitchhiker race. On Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., participants are registered and accommodation is available. After reaching the place, the contestants have free time to integrate and get to know the attractions of the area. On Saturday at 10:00 am there will be an announcement of the results of the race and the awarding of prizes to the winners. The fun begins at 12:00 with a beach zumba and learning choreography to the holiday resort anthem.
Lots of attractions have been prepared for the guests, including a surprise concert and roasting sausages together - the Pagan Fire Festival. Active people can play table tennis, beach volleyball and bulls, as well as participate in the beach ski race. They can also rent a kayak, boat and pedalo (at an additional cost) and try their hand at wakeboarding in the Wake City zone.
On Sunday, from 1 p.m., participants go home.
