National Caravanning Rally on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Katowice Caravanning Circle

Forty years has passed as one day, closer is now than further, you know that. Forty years have passed, gone into the shadows, and will never come back, do what you want." In fact, life over 40 is just beginning!

On May 8-10, 2015, the National Caravanning Rally will be held in Brenna (Śląskie Voivodeship). The organizer of the meeting is Automobilklub Śląski - Koło Caravanning Katowice, and caravanning enthusiasts meet on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Circle's activity.

Automobilklub Śląski itself has existed for almost 90 years. Since its inception, it has significantly developed to enjoy the reputation of an institution of public trust today. Its statutory activity covers not only tourism (including caravanning and navigation of the disabled), but also Road Traffic Safety and motor sport. It is also the organizer of numerous events, including the golden owners of historic vehicles and the famous Vistula Rally, which has been held for over 60 years.

The club is also involved in training event security judges and sports referees as well as road rescue training.

Rally program

The admission of crews will start on Friday, May 8 from 12.00. The rally is scheduled to open at 6.30 p.m., and an hour later, campsite guests will have the opportunity to participate in social events.

On Saturday, May 9, from 10.00 to 13.00, competitions will be held for adult participants of the rally. At 2 p.m. everyone will go to a nutritious lunch (the meal will be pea soup). The competitions for children will start at 15.30, and at 17.00 - the test of road traffic regulations (tests). Let the best win!

On Sunday, May 10 at 12.00, the rally will be officially concluded and the winners will receive prizes.

Meeting at a family campsite

The rally will take place at the family campsite "Kotarz" , located in the immediate vicinity of the center of Brenna (at Sportowa Street). About 100 meters from the campsite, the Brennica River flows, a bit further - only 250 meters - there is the Tourism Park, while less than 300 meters from the SPA complex of the Kotarz Hotel with an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, salt cave, jacuzzi and steam room. Another attraction there is the largest rope park in the Beskids - Orla Perć.

The cost of participation in the rally is PLN 120 per crew (2 adults and 2 children). Joining the crew of an additional person requires an additional PLN 30. The entry fee will be collected on the spot when entering the campsite.
