Świdnica Sports and Recreation Center and CCK Świdnica, together with its co-organizer, the Sudety Automobile Club, invite everyone to the VIII Świdnica Caravanning Rally. Let's meet at Camp 231 in August!

No matter where, it matters with whom, and a week in great company sounds great. If someone wants to spend a few days exploring attractions such as the Museum of Old Merchants, the Church of Peace or the Underground City of Osówka near Głuszyca, he should visit Świdnica at the beginning of August. On August 1-8, 2015, the 8th Świdnica Caravanning Rally will be held here.

Where do we meet?

Rally participants meet at Camp 231 , at ul. Śląska 37 (next to the Tourist House). This facility is recommended by the Polish Federation of Camping and Caravanning, which, together with numerous awards and distinctions, confirms that it meets the highest standards for this type of tourist facility. Guests have at their disposal 15 pitches for motorhomes with an electric connection, 40 places at the campsite, as well as a summer room with a kitchenette, a place for barbecue, full sanitary facilities and a chemical toilet.

It is worth mentioning that the Tourist House was awarded the title of "Excellence 2014" last year. This is an award in the ranking created by the booking.com portal, granted based on the opinions of customers evaluating, among others value for money.

VIII Świdnica Caravanning Rally - program

Crews and individual tourists check in at the rally office on Saturday, August 1 from 12.00.

Sunday , August 2, will be a day of rest and relaxation. Then it will also be possible to apply for trips.

On Monday, August 3 at 10.00, the rally participants will visit the city with a guide. There are plans to get to know the attractions of the Market Square, including the cathedral, the Church of Peace, entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the Museum of Old Trade (the only such facility in Poland) and the entrance to the town hall tower. At 5.00 p.m. the rally will be officially opened, meeting with representatives of the city and poviat authorities as well as organizers with music and a barbecue.

For the next four days, from 4 to 7 August , those willing will be able to take part in optional trips. In addition, the rally participants can enjoy the entire infrastructure of the Sports and Recreation Center, including a free outdoor gym, a barbecue area, an outdoor swimming pool and sports fields, tennis courts and bicycle rental (for a fee). Children and teenagers can take part in numerous competitions and games, and the participants of the rally - in fitness competitions.

On Saturday, August 8, at 2 p.m., the rally will officially end and the office will be closed.

Applications for participation in the rally

Willing to take part in the rally in Świdnica should register the crew's participation by June 30, 2015, in writing in any form (letter or e-mail). The crew consists of max. 2 adults and 3 children up to the age of 18. In the application, please provide the names and surnames and age of the participants, as well as submit a declaration of payment on the day of arrival at the rally.

Beach-goers can rent a deckchair or an umbrella, there are also beach volleyball courts and two cafes. Disabled people can also count on all kinds of amenities. Copacabana is very liked by the little ones, who are waiting for, among others, slide. The beach provides great views of the nearby islets - tourists resting on deckchairs can relax and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. Those who want to see as much as possible can take advantage of the paragliding option.
