Camping/Caravan-Pitches

Our pitches for caravans are between 80 and 260 sq.m. in size. All of them are supplied with electricity, and many also have individual water and sewage hook-ups. Hedges and shrubs separate both group and single pitches. Guests with tents and bikes camp in a separate area.  Camping...

You can choose from among various areas: from motor home pitches that are not subdivided to comfortable pitches with electricity, water and drainage. Our range of camping pitches and caravans for hire has grown to include holiday homes and flats. Choose from our broad selection of accommodations: right on the beach, in the centre of the park (like the house by the pool) or bordering the golf course. You’ll find comfortably furnished resort accommodations in various sizes.

Just drive away from home, get here quickly and still have a holiday in a caravan; it doesn't have to be your own caravan, does it?

In the Camping- and Holiday Resort Wulfener Hals more than 70 rental caravans and 10 mobile homes of recognized brands are available. They can usually be occupied by two adults and two children, sometimes more.
All units have toilets, washing cabins, heating, some are with a shower; they are refurbished every year, exchanged or newly installed.
Choose the type of car according to size and preference, the options are many. Please note our „Specials“, special offers for rental caravans from Easter to October.

For hot shower, swimming- and whirlpool we charge per person and day € 0,90. Cure tax applies.
The special offers also include all other possible rebates.
Surety for caravan 100,- (at least 25,- are claimed for cleaning after departure)

Boredom? What is that?

Our team of animators provides for variation and fun recreation. Offering the „ mother- and-toddler programme“, lots of sports, fun and action and the great evening shows.

Children are hard to please, sometimes. „When the children are happy“, says Volker Riechey, „we have reached our goal.“

And all the letters we have received prove the point. Nadine Maaßen from Norf, for example, who visited Wulfener Hals for the third time, writes:  

 „Dear animators!             

… Your camping site is absolutely super: the musicals, in your show tent, the karaoke- nights, the organisation of the various bands, the competitions and gameshows with the guests (my father had to play a scene from Romeo and Julia with the head animator; it didn't last longer than 2 minutes, but it was sooo funny!), and everything else: your animation programme is simply great. My compliments to you all: you are great (and so thinks everyone that was there with me and others)!

Motor home park

In the triangle formed by the Baltic beach, the golf course and holiday park is our new (2006) recreational vehicle park, in front of the gates of the main resort facilities. You can enjoy all of the facilities of Wulfener Hals and drive your recreational vehicle in or out of the motor home park at any time. That’s how a motor home vacation should be.
No gates, and with the comfort of a five-star camping site.

You can come and go with no worries about whether the gates are open. Water and electricity supply is guaranteed through modern supply column hook-ups on your site. A few steps away and you’re on the beach and the popular surfing area, or at the Fehmarn golf course.

Surfing at Wulfen - a challenge for professionals and beginners

The surfing area at Wulfener Hals and Burger Binnensee (lake) is well-liked and a real surfing hit. Cracks and beginners from all over come here to practice their sport. One of the leading surfing and catamaran schools - Surf- und Katamaranschule Windsurfing Wulfen - has established itself here.

From Easter until the end of October up to 10 VDWS-experienced instructors teach beginner, intermediate, adult, youth and children (5 years and older) courses. The surfing shop and the rental station offer equipment by leading manufacturers.

A new dimension of flying kites

Kite-surfing is the new and trendy sport from the USA which has also become an integral part of our beaches.

The idea is to allow yourself to be pulled out of the water while standing on special kite boards and holding onto a thirty meter long line attached to a unique kite - great speed is made even at moderate winds. Anyone interested in this sport should be physically fit and should be a good swimmer. A good practice is using a conventional dirigible kite to gain experience.
First you learn to start from out of the water. You experience the force of the kite and how to handle it by bodydrag. Later on the instructor analyses your progress. The aim is to quickly learn how to safely start and ride your kite board. At the end of the course it is possible to obtain the internationally valid VWDS-Kite Licence. It enables you to surf in all areas requiring such a licence (e.g. Wulfener Hals) and we also rent out the equipment.

Catamaran school at Wulfener Hals

Catamaran sailing is good fun. We offer 13 boats (HobieCat and KL) to youths and adult guests. Our school presents beginner courses as well as introductory courses for yachtsmen and follow-up courses for experts. Experienced persons can also rent a catamaran.

At Wulfener Hals you can dock your long-boat directly at our "Restaurant Seeblick" . We offer a wide selection of fresh fish specialties.

Sea view from every tee and green Golf is "in" Golfing is healthy and not a lonely sport or elitist. If you have a nice flight you often sit together long after the game is over. Golfing is healthy - there is no age limit to this sport. An 18-hole round lasts ca. 4 hours and covers 7-8 km. And if you succeed in putting the ball into the 108 mm small hole with as few strikes as possible - then you know why this fascinating sport is addictive.

A golf course to everyone's taste Not only do the golfers enjoy the driving-range, but also the view over the surrounding water. Our strategic planning ensures that all golfers can enjoy the game and experience a feeling of success as well as a real challenge. In the past the green shaped like the island of Fehmarn has claimed the one or other ball. So: Throw your fears over board and try out the experience of using a club and golf ball in a beginner course. You can practice and play on our unique PAR3 course (9 holes). Who knows: Maybe the golfing fever is contagious”!

Maritime dishes and a great selection of freshly caught fish from the fishing port Burgstaaken and lots of international dishes are available in our Restaurant „Seeblick“.

"Happy Hour" in the Surfboard
In the „Beer bar Surfboard“ you can meet to chat and snack and have a freshly draught beer. Every day, from 17:00 to 22:30 hrs. it's „happy hour“ with delicious drinks.

The Palmencafé is the right place to go for disco, dance nights, events and live music. The catering is cared for by the restaurants.

Welcome to the golf restaurant

Our club house invites all to linger. Enjoy the gorgeous view on the 9th/18th hole and the driving range. The sunsets on the green with the Fehmarnsund bridge in the background are picture perfect.
