Camp Harenda Zakopane

Camp Harenda Zakopane is a simple and natural campsite in one of the most beautiful parts of Zakopane located at the foot of Gubałówka, in a quiet part of the city, with an epic view of the Tatra Mountains and Giewont .

This is a place that combines mountain tranquility with a truly convenient location: you are still in Zakopane, away from the noisy Krupówki Street, and at the same time with very easy access to the city center – by bus or car.

We offer pitches for campers and caravans – some with electricity, pitches for tents , as well as more comfortable accommodations in the form of wooden mountain cabins and rooms with bathrooms . Some pitches are paved , allowing us to easily accommodate larger rigs and heavier motorhomes. This allows each guest to choose a stay that suits their plans and travel style .

Our spacious mountain campsite is open year-round and provides a great base for exploring the Tatra Mountains at any time of the year – for both classic trails from Zakopane and Kuźnice , as well as shorter trips with children. In summer, we welcome hikers, cyclists, and family trips, and in winter , skiers using the Harenda lift and nearby ski resorts, as well as those who simply want to enjoy the unique winter atmosphere of Zakopane .

In the immediate vicinity of the campsite, you'll find everything you need for everyday life. About 150 meters from the gate is a well-stocked grocery store, a pharmacy, and a bus stop for bus number 14 , which takes you to the train station in the heart of Zakopane in about 15 minutes (8 stops). A gas station and McDonald's (about 600 meters) are also within walking distance, as well as a café and restaurant (about 300 meters). The Harenda ski lift is about 650 meters away, providing easy access to the ski slope in winter, and in summer, you can start the trail to Gubałówka and continue on to other viewpoints. Importantly, you can also start the hiking trail to Gubałówka directly from Camp Harenda , without having to walk to the lift.

Near the campsite are the Harenda ski lift, walking trails, and viewpoints with panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains and Zakopane. From here, it's easy to plan trips to the Tatras, valleys, and the famous Zakopane thermal baths.

There's also a dishwashing station and a kettle for heating your own water. The restrooms are simple, spacious, and functional, and the hot water showers are coin-operated and cost 1 złoty per minute.
