Camp Harenda Zakopane is an intimate campsite located at the foot of Gubałówka Mountain, in a quiet part of town, with spectacular views of the Tatra Mountains and Giewont . It's a place for those seeking a relaxing getaway close to the mountains, yet with comfortable facilities and an atmosphere conducive to a true respite from everyday life. You're still in Zakopane, yet away from the bustling city center—and yet very easy to reach. Our spacious mountain campsite is open year-round and provides a great base for exploring the Tatra Mountains at any time of the year – for both classic trails from Zakopane and Kuźnice, as well as shorter trips with children. In summer, we welcome hikers, cyclists, and family trips, and in winter, skiers using the Harenda lift and nearby ski resorts, as well as those simply wanting to enjoy the winter atmosphere of Zakopane. In the immediate vicinity of the campsite, you'll find everything you need for everyday life: about 150 meters from the gate is a well-stocked grocery store , a pharmacy , and a bus stop , which takes you to the train station in the heart of Zakopane in about 15 minutes (eight stops on city bus number 14). A gas station and McDonald's (about 600 meters) are also within walking distance, as well as a café and restaurant (about 300 meters). The Harenda ski lift is about 650 meters away – in winter, it offers convenient access to the ski slope, and in summer, you can start a hiking trail to Gubałówka Mountain and beyond to other viewpoints. We offer pitches for campers and caravans, some with electricity, pitches for tents, and more comfortable accommodations in the form of chalets and rooms with bathrooms. Some pitches are paved, allowing us to easily accommodate larger rigs and heavier motorhomes. This allows each guest to choose a stay that best suits their plans and travel style. Practical amenities include Wi-Fi throughout the property, restrooms with sinks and showers (hot water in coin-operated showers: 1 PLN/minute), a dishwashing station with a kettle for heating your own water, and wooden tables and benches, plus a barbecue area. Parking is also available, and in winter, a communal fireplace room and equipment storage and drying room are available, which will be especially appreciated by active guests. We have prepared a service point for campers: grey water discharge, chemical toilet and the possibility of refilling the fresh water tank . Camp Harenda is a peaceful, year-round destination for families with children, couples, friends , and anyone who wants to explore the Tatra Mountains in comfort – without loud parties and with respect for their neighbors.
