In Poland, the prices of Knaus Sky-i start from 65,600 euro. Interestingly, the price on the German website of the manufacturer is lower and amounts to EUR 63,290 (perhaps the reason is the higher VAT tax in Poland). However, it is still about 10,000 more than for a Fiat Ducato with an "attached" camping container. So what do we get in return?

Four versions with similar layouts

Sky-i is more angular, so it should also be easier to arrange inside. The large windshield was set at a lower angle than in the Fiat Ducato.

There are four versions of the motorhome with two lengths to choose from. The shorter model measures 696 cm x 234 cm and the longer model measures 744 cm x 234 cm. Up to six sleeping places can be installed in each version.

In the 650 LEG version, we have a cooker with three burners arranged in series, a sink, and on the opposite side a relatively large bathroom, in which the shower part can be separated from the toilet itself. At night, the rear bed can be converted to take up the entire width of the motorhome, and at the front we can lower the double bed mounted under the ceiling. The only problem is the bed obtained by transforming the sofas in the living area, because the bed is then set in the shape of the letter L - this arrangement makes it impossible to treat it as a double sleeper.

The arrangement of the beds in the other models is very similar. In the 650 LG version, you can enjoy a large, round shower tray in a separate cabin. However, we saw a disadvantage - the gas stove is located behind the sink, which may mean difficult access to the dishes while cooking. On the set of this model there was a refrigerator.

The 700 LEG version looks identical to the 650 LG. Both models differ mainly in the size of the interior. In the 700 LX version, you may be surprised by large double beds positioned along the axis of the vehicle, with access from both sides of the bed.

Even an express is possible for an extra charge

Each version boasts high-quality furniture with numerous storage compartments. Soft-closed cabinets or special compartments for bottles are certainly significant advantages of Sky-i. Among the options available at an additional cost, there is even an integrated coffee machine.

And what's the standard? The big advantage is the 95-liter, heated waste water tank. The fresh water tank is 100 liters. A 10-liter boiler is also available with the Truma Combi 6 heating system. Each model is additionally equipped with a submersible pump. The refrigerator has 108 liters as standard, but for an additional fee you can get a 190-liter version. In addition, we can count on an electronic control panel and storage compartments - both external and internal.

The additional equipment includes, among others heated windshield, Alde heat exchanger, air conditioning, gas grill, underfloor heating, TV and much, much more, because you have to admit - the list of options available for an extra charge is impressive.

Each of the presented vehicles has a permissible total weight of 3.5 tons, which can be increased for an additional fee.
