Safe remote work in a motorhome

The vast majority of new motorhomes are sold in Poland "by company", that is, to put it simply, such vehicles are bought by entrepreneurs, owners of small and large enterprises. What if the motorhome was used at every possible opportunity? Create a mobile office out of it? Do not look at the offer of hotels or apartments? Let's not forget about the safety of such work and travel, which is especially important today, during the coronavirus epidemic.

Where to sleep in the era of coronavirus?

Currently, in our country it is forbidden to conduct activities related to short-term (less than one month) rental of premises. We are talking about cabins at campsites, apartments, hotels. The ban affects not only tourists, but also all those who have to travel around the country for business reasons.

Apart from the issue of the prevailing coronavirus epidemic, accommodation (especially short-term accommodation for a night or two) is often problematic and takes a long time. We have to check available offers, compare prices, locations and standards. More than once or twice, what we see in the photos differs from the actual state. After arriving at the place, e.g. late in the evening, it is difficult to change the previously planned place of rest. We accept what is.

This problem does not occur with a motorhome. When buying, for example, an agile camper van , we have a vehicle that will enter every city and easily slip under every viaduct or through a narrow street. We can park it everywhere, literally everywhere. We do not need an external power source for a one or two night stay. All you need is decent batteries, water in tanks and (possibly) solar panels on the roof. That's it. We can also equip the motorhome with a voltage converter. In this way, we will always have electricity even in 230V sockets.

Work at home, rest "at home"

We always know what we have in the motorhome. We are sure of an accommodation of a certain standard, in our bed, in our sheets. We are not afraid of germs or poor disinfection of the toilet in the hotel room. Everything here is "ours". Even in the smallest camper van, we can find a place to unfold a table, put a laptop there, and print something on a printer installed in one of the numerous cabinets. What do we need? Just the internet, actually.

What about "after hours"? Like at home: own space, gas stove, fridge, bathroom, toilet, bed. Preparing a meal is not a problem, just like taking a shower or changing into loose or elegant clothes, "for the office". After all, a wardrobe will also be found in (almost) every motorhome.

Water tanks usually have about 100 liters of capacity, so with reasonable management, we can be completely independent for several days. Where? Anywhere - the place where we park is also our home. A safe home.

Office, Mobile Home, Tourist Vehicle

After work, we can take the motorhome on vacation, vacation or even a weekend trip with family or friends. Modern vehicles are properly insulated and insulated, so they can be used all year round. The weather conditions are irrelevant. On board each motorhome you will find efficient heating and a hot water boiler. Skis? Pretty please. Training outside the city and then a relaxing, warm shower topped with hot tea? No problem. There are hundreds (if not thousands) of ways to use a motorhome for any occasion all year round.

For whom?

A camper as a mobile office is an option for everyone who can work remotely. Business owners, programmers, sales representatives, journalists, graphic designers, accountants, copywriters are only part of the profession. The former should be interested in motorhomes especially because of the interesting tax preferences. Details can be obtained from any dealer offering such vehicles.
