Jakub Faryś, president of the Polish Automotive Industry Association, says: “The results for the first nine months of 2025 are encouraging, as the increase in registrations of new camping vehicles was over 3%, which – considering previous data – can be considered a growing trend.
It is also not surprising that there has been a significant increase in the registration of used camping vehicles, almost 25%
because usually such a vehicle – even if it is several years old – has relatively low mileage, is in good technical condition and is definitely cheaper than a new one.
New caravan registrations remain at last year's level, while used caravan registrations saw a slight 5.5% decline. This may indicate that customers are choosing motorhomes over caravans, which are somewhat more challenging to drive.
Given the tightening of emission requirements, also with regard to the chassis of commercial vehicles, which are the basis for the construction of campers, it will be interesting to see how this market behaves in the coming years in light of the ongoing discussion at the European level about delaying the 2035 emission target, when in practice all vehicles will have to be zero-emission.
These targets will likely be postponed, and the market for new motorhomes should be stable in the coming years.”
Sebastian Klauz, vice president of SPGC, says: "After three quarters, the results are improving significantly. We are moving from negative quotations in the camper registration segment to positive results. This fuels optimism. The Caravans Salon Poland trade fair is behind us, bringing high sales results for many brands. It is worth emphasizing that CSP is becoming a major industry event not only
in Poland, but also in Europe. This is not only our opinion, but also that of the representatives of the factories present
in Poznań. Congratulations to the Grupa MTP team! Returning to the results, I would like to draw your attention
Rimor's third place in the rankings is the highest position this manufacturer has ever achieved. The introduction of the new, economical EKOS line was certainly a good move by the Polish representatives of this brand.
Let's also note the luxury brand Carthago, which maintains its 7th position after the first six months of the year. This has never happened before in the history of Polish caravanning. These expensive and luxurious vehicles continue to sell very well. In the caravan segment, as well as
In the case of campervans, the situation is improving. The downward trends are diminishing, and perhaps by the end of the year we'll see a positive result. It's worth noting that the European market is similar.
After the third quarter, we see a further increase in Hobby trailer registrations. This position will no longer be threatened. Congratulations to Grenov and the distributors on this result. In my previous comment, I noted the significant decline in Niewiadów trailer registrations in the first half of the year. Immediately after my comment, I received information from the factory that the brand is in good sales shape.
The presented result only concerned the Polish market and did not reflect the strong global sales results. Considering the results after three quarters, the situation in the domestic market is improving significantly. We're keeping our fingers crossed for our domestic manufacturer. We hope that the introduction of the new N-Cross will make things easier. However, the Adria brand recorded the largest increase in registrations in the trailer segment (+47.5%), and we congratulate them, once again, on their good results. The first registrations of used vehicles in the country are also an important element of the market. These are the fastest-growing segment in the industry. Companies specializing in the sale of used campers and trailers with warranties are emerging. Such vehicles are an increasingly popular alternative to buying a new camper.
To sum up, the very good mood after the fair and the optimism give hope for even better results at the end of the year, which is what I wish for you and myself.”
