The largest caravanning fair in the world, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, opens to the general public on Saturday, August 31 and will last until the next Sunday, September 8. The Friday before the fair is traditionally reserved for representatives of the press and the industry.

Arrival in a camper van at the Caravan Salon

If you plan to come to the fair with your own motorhome, remember that you can stay at a temporary campsite called Caravan Center, which is located right next to the fair.

Buses run from the Caravan Center every 5 minutes, which will take you free of charge to the entrance to the fair.

CC can accommodate up to 3000 motorhomes but we suggest booking in advance because some days can be very crowded and there will simply be no free space.

There is a huge party and gastronomic tent on the premises of CC, where you can buy fresh bread in the morning and in the afternoon there are points with various food and beer.

There are also containers with sanitary facilities (toilets, hot water showers, wash basins) which are free for everyone. However, it must be remembered that in the morning the queue can be quite long ...

At the entrance, you can empty the dirty water tanks and the toilet free of charge and refuel with fresh water.

The cost of parking a motorhome and entry to the fair

Reservations are made on the website of the fair at: https://www.caravan-salon.com/en/Visitors/Services_for_Visitors/CARAVAN_CENTER

When registering on the above website, you immediately have to buy tickets for the fair. This is done in one form.

A place for a motorhome at the Caravan Center costs € 20 for the first night and € 10 for each subsequent night. You have to take into account that these are places without a power connection.

Regarding the cost of admission to the fair, a 2-day ticket costs € 15 for an adult and € 6 for a child aged 6-12.
