Golden Campsites 2026 - the great tourist vote is underway

94 submitted entries, 43 different locations, and 392 nominations in individual categories – this is the conclusion of the first stage of the "Golden Campsites 2026" plebiscite. This year's edition generated more nominations than the record-breaking first edition. Now, tourists will decide the results.

The first stage of the "Golden Campsites 2026" plebiscite concluded on August 24th. Caravanning enthusiasts could submit their favorite spots and nominate them in individual categories. A total of 94 entries were submitted, with 392 nominations covering 43 different locations across Poland.

This year's result is particularly significant because the number of nominations exceeded the record-breaking first edition of the competition. In 2024, there were 307 nominations in nine categories, while this year the total number of nominations increased to 392 in ten categories.

New category with the most nominations

The results of the entries in the individual categories are particularly interesting. The most popular category was "Quiet Camping," a category that appeared in the competition for the first time this year.

A total of 32 locations were nominated for this award. The "Gastro Camping" category received the fewest entries, with 10 locations submitted.

Voting has started – now it's up to tourists to decide

The second stage of the "Golden Campsites 2026" plebiscite begins on August 26th. This time, tourists themselves will decide which of the nominated sites deserve recognition and the title of one of the best campsites in Poland.

Votes can be cast in any category. However, there is no obligation to nominate a campsite in all of them – each participant can only vote in the categories in which they wish to nominate their favorite.

The rule is one email address = one vote.

Voting will run from August 26 to September 22, 2026, at 9:00 p.m.

The results will be announced on September 24th

The winners of the "Golden Campsites 2026" poll will be announced on September 24. In each category, the three locations with the highest ratings from voters will be presented.

This year's edition, however, won't end there. The official summary of the poll and the award ceremony for the best campsites will take place on October 16th during Caravans Salon Poland 2026 at the Poznań International Fair.
