Poznań Motor Show - the road to electromobility

The well-known motor show is back after a pandemic break. The theme of this year's edition will be electromobility. Poznań Motor Show is the most prestigious automotive fair in Central and Eastern Europe. After the break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the event returns to the calendar of the MTP Group. This is great news for automotive fans who will visit the Poznań International Fair from 7 to 10 April. The main sponsor of this year's edition is the Otomoto website.

Electromobility above all

As the automotive industry is changing, so is the Poznań Motor Show. No wonder that the slogan of this year's edition of the event is "The Road to Electromobility". For this reason, the models presented at the fair must not be complete without cars and motorbikes equipped with a zero-emission drive. Here, Konrado e-Motion, a full-fledged, fully electric SUV from SsangYong, deserves special attention. The official presentation of this model will take place during the MOVE Congress on April 7 at 12:20 in pavilion No. 5.

MOVE Congress - how will the automotive industry change?

An important element of the electromobility puzzle at the Poznań Motor Show will also be the MOVE Congress, the largest substantive conference organized jointly by the MTP Group and the Polish Alternative Fuels Association. On April 7, practitioners and experts from the emobility industry will talk about the current trends and tell about the direction in which the automotive industry is heading.

As in previous years, the event will gather several hundred professionals from the entire value chain in electromobility - experts and practitioners of the e-mobility market, including representatives of leading concerns, public administration, industry organizations and the world of science.

A wide range of topics is enriched with interesting forms of participation. During the congress, as many as four debates will be held. Each of them will be devoted to selected aspects:

· Debate "Poland - MOVE emobility forward!" - a panel of experts on the challenges of the electric car market in Poland,

AC, DC, HPC - the structure of the Polish charging market in 2025 and 2030 - presenting the directions of development and segmentation of the charging infrastructure market in Poland,

EHDV - electric trucks on the horizon - presenting the Polish potential in the heavy transport electrification segment,

We are all electromobility - the social dimension of electromobility - experts will raise the topic of social awareness in the field of sustainable transport.

All debates, lectures and presentations as part of the MOVE Congress will take place on the Main Stage, located in pavilion 5. The congress will be held on April 7 and will last from 11:00 to 17:00. A detailed program is available at www.kongresmove.pl.

Lots of car brands

Each year, the car showroom at the Poznań Motor Show attracts the greatest attention of visitors and the upcoming edition will undoubtedly be no exception. The brands whose models can be found in the exhibition halls will include Dacia, Renault, Peugeot, Hyundai, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo (Karlik Group Zone) and Mercedes (MB Motors Zone). The Bemo Motors Group will present vehicles of the LEVC and DS brands.

Particular attention should be paid to the premiere model of the Range Rover, which will be available to the general public for the first time since the autumn online presentation. It is an absolutely top-of-the-range luxury SUV that undoubtedly deserves a moment of attention.

Visitors will meet no less interesting models at the Mercedes stand, where unique new products such as the EQS 580 4MATIC and EQB 300 4MATIC will be shown. Jaguar fans will be pleased, in turn, with the presence of the F-TYPE Heritage 60 Edition model - the only one in Poland and one of 60 examples around the world.

For the first time in Poland, we will also see the fully electric, completely new Renault Megane and Renault Trafic in a camper van, which will appear in the Karlik Group zone. The presentation in the form of a press breakfast will take place on the first day of the fair in Hall 5, where the Karlik Group zone is located.

Something for lovers of two-wheelers

The motorcycle showroom has been a permanent part of the exhibition for many years. Following the leitmotif of this year's edition, the models presented will also include those equipped with a zero-emission drive. Their presence will be possible thanks to the involvement of a well-known motorcycle dealer - Karbon2, who will take with him a dozen vehicles signed by Zero Motorcycles and Super Socco brands.

Fans of the classics will surely turn to the Harley-Davidson Poznań stand. The upcoming fair will feature four models of this legendary manufacturer - Pan America 1250 Special, Sportster S 1250, LiveWire and Softail Breakout 114. Three motorcycle brands will be taken by Grupa Karlik, where two-wheelers manufactured by Honda, Kawasaki and MV Augusta will appear. .

Meetings with the stars and a rich program of the main stage

This year, the Poznań Motor Show will again attract well-known figures of the automotive industry and motorsport. First of all, the TVN Turbo zone should be mentioned, where journalists and presenters known from popular programs broadcast on the station's air will appear.

The stars will also appear on the Main Stage. As part of the 11th edition of the National Mechanics Championship, on April 9, the Poznań Motor Show will be visited by the two-time speedway world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik. On Friday, April 8, after At 10:00 we will connect with Robert Kubica and Miko Marczyk.

Krzysztof Ruszała and Kamil Jaśkowski, known from the program "Absurdy Drogowe" broadcast on TVN Turbo, will also talk about their reporter's work. A duo that traveled all over Poland in search of solutions that, instead of helping drivers, disturb and limit traffic. They tracked down a lot of nonsensical road signs, complicated pedestrian crossings, and roads to nowhere. They will certainly have many interesting anecdotes to tell. Kamil and Krzysztof will appear on the Main Stage twice - on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Super-cars straight from collectors

BAC Mono, Porsche, McLaren - this is only the top of the list of car brands that collectors and automotive enthusiasts will take with them. The.collection, well-known to the Poznań audience, and the Nocnych Lotów team will appear at the Poznań Motor Show. After we admired their cars on the occasion of the Poznań Moto Fest, they are now headed for the bigger stage by taking part in the upcoming event.

Tuning fans, in turn, will be pleased with the presence of Pachura Moto Center, which is one of the best services, which offers high-quality assembly of turbo systems and compressors, translation, as well as engine tuning and comprehensive preparation of cars for motorsport. Many unusual vehicles produced by this service will be available at this stand.

In addition to the pavilions - attractions on Mark's Square

The attractions of the Poznań Motor Show traditionally go beyond the walls of the pavilions. As in previous years, visitors will be able to admire the extraordinary feats of stunters who can perform truly stunts on their motorbikes. Kamil "Nikson" Nikliborc, Dawid "Procent" Marach and Maciej "Dop" Bielicki will take care of positive impressions.

For racing fans, a unique go-kart track has been prepared, the presence of which was provided by the Automobilklub Wielkopolski.

Caravanning zone

During the Poznań Motor Show, there was also a place for caravanning enthusiasts, who will be taken care of by the brands Polski Caravaning and CampRest. The zone will be a place where you can talk and learn about caravanning, and an announcement of further events related to this subject, organized by Grupa MTP. We are talking about the Warsaw Caravaning Festival, which will take place in Warsaw's Służewiec from May 14-15, and Caravans Salon Poland 2022, which was planned for October 21-23, 2022.

At the same time, the Automotive Technology Fair

The Automotive Technology Fair is the largest industry event in Central and Eastern Europe. It is at the Poznań International Fair that new products and technologies are presented, and the rich program is filled with numerous presentations, workshops and trainings.

The event is organized every two years. Recently, however, the calendar was disturbed by the coronavirus pandemic - the last edition took place in 2018. The hunger for meetings is huge.

What awaits us in the STM zone?

TTM is co-organized by the Automotive Technology Association, which will once again invite visitors to its zone, filled with numerous attractions. Mechanics, students and owners of vehicle inspection stations will find something for themselves. There will also be stands with car washes. - For many years, together with the MTP Group, we have had the pleasure to co-create a project during which leading brands from the automotive technology sector are present. This is a great opportunity to present your products and build new business relationships, which is particularly important in such a demanding period for the entire automotive industry - admits the president of STM, Rafał Sosnowski.

An important item on the agenda will also be the debate on fees for technical inspection of vehicles. We have been paying the exact same bill for the technical inspection of a vehicle for 18 years. For the owners of vehicle inspection stations, the situation is quite different - in this case, the costs of running a business have increased significantly. This has led to a situation where the audit fee is inadequate to the current economic reality.

The participants of the meeting will talk about the future of the industry. Is it in danger of collapsing? Will vehicle inspection stations be closed? What are the consequences for drivers? The debate will be held on April 7 at 1 p.m. in pavilion No. 3.

Knowledge and emotions workshop

For years, TTM has been a place where we can test our current knowledge in the field of automotive technology. This year, the program of events will again be filled with numerous competitions, such as the National Automotive Knowledge Tournament, the National Mechanics Championship or the National Road Safety Tournament.

Traditionally, one of the points of the program will be the Living Workshop. This interactive workshop and diagnostic zone will feature demonstrations of the latest repair techniques. Visitors will be able to follow the activities of professionals from various areas of the automotive industry live.

It is also necessary to mention new items on the fair's agenda. We are talking about the TTM Stage, which will be broadcast live on the Internet, or events related to education in the field of road safety.

Prizes and awards

The fair is also an opportunity to award the best products and people active in the industry. Exhibitors participating in the event will again compete for the MTP Gold Medal. This is one of the most recognizable awards on the Polish market, which is awarded - after thorough evaluation by experts - to innovative products of the highest quality. During the TTM, we will also meet the best automotive journalists. All thanks to the Trade Press Award plebiscite. The competition aims to promote specialized journalism, created for the sake of the highest quality of the prepared content.
