Red Dot Award: Best of the Best for the Egoé Nestbox

An international commission composed of experts in the field of product design awarded the Red Dot: Best of the Best award to the Egoé Nestbox camping set with equipment. This product was created by the Czech company Egoé, which is becoming more and more recognizable on the Polish market every month.

The camping set was created in cooperation with the designers of studio 519 , who have been developing Egoé nest products for several years. The award received is the highest distinction that can be obtained in this competition. Each year, only 1.5% of the submitted products are awarded, which makes it for designers what the Oscar is for filmmakers.

The Nestbox set provides complete freedom of choice. This applies to the size of the module, accessories and additional equipment for the car. If you have a slightly larger car (from a station wagon, through passenger cars and delivery vans, to a VAN), you can easily equip it with a box. It is installed in just a few minutes, without disturbing the vehicle's structure. So you don't have to take a trailer or rent a camper for your trip. Studio 519 is the author of two other products that were not ignored by the Red Dot Design Award committee. The Red Dot award also goes to a set of minimalist Egoé Dip SL slalom skis with a milled logo and a Maggot cover - products of the Egoé move brand.

The third Red Dot award went to the creators of the concept of the noba digi mini sound-absorbing screen (a product of mmcité+), whose embossed elements that dampen sound waves are made of material recovered from used car tires, and at the same time these elements create space for creating graphic motifs based on the aesthetics of the displays. digital.

This triple success confirms the quality of Czech product design and the potential and competitiveness of Czech companies in the international environment.

It is not an ordinary design studio, but rather a "creative workshop" that designs garden furniture, camping sets, and sports equipment (all for the Egoé brand). The results of the work of studio 519 can also be found in public space, specifically in the transport infrastructure projects implemented by mmcité+.
