Camping Amarin - holidays on the Adriatic Sea – main image

The beauty of Croatia consists of many factors, from the wonderful, varied coast to the enormous wealth of monuments from different eras. The popularity of this beautiful country also translates into a very well-developed leisure infrastructure and accommodation facilities for all budgets. One of the recommended tourist facilities is camping Amarin , located less than 3.5 km north of Rovinj.

Accommodation at the campsite

Camping Amarin

The resort offers large pitches for campers or caravans owners and lodge tents. The places where you can park your vehicle, trailer or put up a tent have an area of about 100 m² and are designed for a maximum of 6 people. Each of the stands is equipped with a 10 A power connection.

There are also cozy lodge tents at the disposal of holidaymakers. As standard, they have a fully equipped kitchenette and a bedroom area. In addition, there is a set of garden furniture outside.

The campsite has also prepared an offer for guests who prefer relaxation among greenery, but in comfort. Well-equipped mobile homes are waiting for vacationers, which can accommodate from 6 to 8 people (including two children). The standard includes bedrooms (two or three), a children's room, a kitchen and two bathrooms.

During the season, it is recommended to book the accommodation option you are interested in in advance.

Beach at the campground

The Amarin Resort has access to a small pebble and shingle beach, distinguished by the Blue Flag. This certificate guarantees the cleanliness and safety of both the water and the beach itself. On site, we can unfold an umbrella and a deckchair and enjoy the midday sun.

There are also showers at the disposal of tourists. There is also a designated area for children . It is worth noting that you can take your pet on this beach.

Pools and water attractions

Those who feel at ease in the water can splash in the pool with an area of 118 m² or 218 m², while for the youngest there is a paddling pool with lots of attractions (approx. 0.3 m deep). There are sun loungers around the pools, available at an additional cost. Qualified lifeguards ensure the safety of adults and children.

The resort also took care of the needs of lovers of water entertainment other than swimming . Willing people use the services of pedal boats, kayaks and boats (if they have a license) and water scooters. In addition, people who would like to learn sailing or windsurfing can take part in courses organized by local schools.

Attractions and animations for children

During the holidays at Amarin campsite, the youngest will not be bored even for a moment, because they have playgrounds, pitches (football, tennis, volleyball, basketball) and a trampoline for themselves. Water fun lovers will spend time on kayaks, water skiing (with an instructor), sailing boats and windsurfing boards. Holidaymakers who prefer land-based activities can rent a bike and explore the area on two wheels.

A group of animators, who prepare attractions for all ages, cares for the well-being of the vacationers.

Other amenities

Amarin has a restaurant and a snack bar. We don't have to leave the facility to try local delicacies or order something quickly. Likewise, we do not have to look for a store nearby if we want to do shopping - there is a grocery store and a supermarket on site.

Guests have access to a laundry and drying room, as well as an ATM and a safe. Tourists who do not have their own vehicle have no problems with getting to the most interesting attractions. It is enough to go to the nearby stop of communication.

What to see in the area?

The surroundings of Amarin campsite are among the most beautiful in all of Croatia. In the neighborhood, there is historic Rovinj, known to everyone, for example from postcards. You can get to the city by bike, by the mentioned transport, or by water taxi.

Let us also remember that we are on the Adriatic Sea . There will be opportunities for cruises and admiring the local flora and fauna. After all, about 30 km south of the resort is the Brijuni National Park.

Croatia or Bulgaria? Where to go on vacation?
Until recently, the answer seemed obvious - and it is still the case that Croatia is one of the most-chosen holiday destinations. Bulgaria is often associated with the times of crude communism and infrastructure that differs from modern expectations. Is it right?. First, an important clarification. Although Bulgaria does not belong to the Schengen Area, Poles visiting this country only need an ID card . It is also worth knowing that there are vignettes on the roads (prices: from EUR 8 per week or from EUR 15 per month).
