Camping Polari - holidays on the Adriatic Sea
The postcard city of Rovinj in the background, one of the cleanest beaches on the Old Continent and dream weather - this is a recipe for a successful holiday. If you're planning to treat yourself to one, you're probably packing for a trip to Croatia. And perhaps among the numerous accommodation options you will choose Camping Polari .
Accommodation at the campsite
For tourists who want to spend their holidays at a campsite, there are plots where you can park a camper , trailer or pitch a tent . The pitches have an area of 80 to 120 m² and all have access to an electrical connection. Caravanners are provided with sanitary facilities, a laundry room and a place where they can dispose of waste.
Another option for guests are mobile homes. Depending on the standard, they can accommodate 6 to 8 people (adults plus children). Inside there are 2 or 3 bedrooms, a children's room, a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms, and outside - a covered terrace. The cottages are equipped with an air conditioning system, satellite TV and Internet access.
In high season, advance reservation is recommended.
Beach at the campsite
Camping Polari boasts one of the cleanest beaches in Europe, confirmed by its prestigious Blue Flag status. Those who cannot imagine a holiday at the warm seaside without sunbathing have almost 2 km of sandy and rocky beach for themselves. There will be plenty of room for everyone, including our four-legged friends.
You can go there with your own umbrellas and deckchairs or rent them from one of the local rental companies. There are showers with fresh water along the beach, where you can rinse off after swimming or long sunbathing.
Pools and water attractions
Polari guests definitely cannot complain about the lack of water-related attractions. There are swimming pools for adults and children on the campsite or directly next to it. The outdoor swimming pool with a depth of 1.3 m and an area of 1,450 m² is perfect for swimming enthusiasts. There is a large area around it where you can set up an umbrella and a deckchair and enjoy the pleasant weather.
For the youngest guests, there is a shallow swimming pool (0.45 m deep and 250 m² in area), located close to the adult swimming pool. Qualified lifeguards ensure the safety of guests at all times.
In 2017, the Spray Park water park was opened to tourists. Vacationers will find a swimming pool for swimming enthusiasts, another one for children and those who prefer to just wet their feet, as well as a diving pool (up to 3.4 m deep).
Attractions and animations for children
The offer of attractions aimed at the youngest includes sports activities, including football , tennis and fun on the go-kart track. That's not all - the brave can try water skiing or paragliding. To awaken the spirit of sportsmanship in the youngest children, a paintball area has been prepared.
Dusk does not mean that the day is over. In the evenings, specially prepared performances and discos await children.
Other amenities
Croatia is famous for its cuisine dominated by seafood dishes. Camping Polari made sure that tourists visiting it could taste a wide range of local specialties. The Feral-Fish camping restaurant serves lobster, crawfish and many other dishes.
In addition to seafood, gourmets also order regional meat dishes at Brnistra Grill, while people who prefer familiar, "safe" meals head to the fast food bar. Dessert lovers visit the ice cream shop, and those who prefer to cook themselves become regular customers of the camping shop.
What to see in the area?
The location is the pride of Camping Polari. The resort is located right by the sea , which makes it very popular among water sports fans. The proximity of historic Rovinj also attracts enthusiasts of visiting monuments, especially since the city can be easily reached by bus or taxi.
The surroundings of the campsite encourage walking and long bicycle trips . Numerous excursion routes will take us to beautiful places, e.g. Cape Kamienjak with its picturesquely jagged coastline. Prehistory enthusiasts will not be bored here either. Fossils from the dinosaur period have been preserved in the nearby Brijuni National Park .
