Camping Bled - holidays in Slovenia

Accommodation at the campsite

Camping Bled is a place friendly to families with children, as well as to lovers of pets. It offers its guests: accommodation in 4 houses located on a small elevation, thanks to which they provide a wonderful view of the lake. They are located among greenery, and they are built only of natural materials - including wood.

Holidaymakers can also use 12 comfortably furnished glamping tents-houses . It smells wonderfully in them, because they are entirely made of ecological, untreated larch wood. Apart from that, they are covered with larch shingles. Around you can admire the skilfully landscaped area with alpine vegetation, there is also a wooden tub (heated with wood) and wooden deckchairs for relaxing.

Fans of classic cavaraning can choose from 280 plots. Owners of campers (including maxi campers) and caravans will find a place here. Those looking to set up a tent should remember the reinforced mounting pins, rubber mallet and a double floor. The ground is hard, so it is difficult to drive in herring.

Beach at the campground

The facility is located practically on the shores of the lake, so amateurs of relaxing by the water will be more than satisfied. Especially since the views are spectacular! The nearby beach has a grassy surface, it is actually a small bathing area where you can rent sun loungers (for a fee).

Pools and water attractions

You are allowed to swim in the lake, so if the weather is nice, be sure to take this opportunity. In addition, it is worth considering the purchase of an Aquapass, i.e. a bathing pass, entitling you to one-time entry to the Sava Hotels Bled water park, approx. 5 km from the campground. Outdoor and indoor pools invite you to water fun at any time of the year.

Attractions and animations for children

In this amazingly green place, children will have a great time outdoors. They have a playground or a mini zoo for themselves. The organizers also took care of an attractive animation program, adapted to different age groups.

Both children and adults can enjoy the sports area. It includes, among others beach volleyball area, basketball court and mini golf course. Volunteers will be able to play badminton and table tennis.

Other amenities

While relaxing at the campsite, guests can take part in the sightseeing tours offered by the property. They can choose from, among others guided hiking tours and bicycle tours. And after returning, after a day full of positive impressions, we recommend you clean your body (and calm down) in the sauna. There is a wellness center nearby, so nothing prevents you from relaxing with a massage or in the jacuzzi .

Camping Bled is superbly equipped. On its premises you will find a supermarket, a restaurant with an extensive menu (great pizza) and a snack bar. We can also buy fresh bread without any problems. In addition, there is a wireless Wi-Fi network throughout the area, so if necessary, we will quickly get to the Internet.

What to see in the area?

The facility is located not only in the immediate vicinity of a picturesque lake, but also in the heart of the Julian Alps. Camping guests can admire the mountains from their lot - or from their cottage. The area is beautiful, it calls for a walk or a bike ride. During your stay, visit the tiny island of Blejski Otok and its 15th-century church. Vacationers are especially curious about the wishes bell; it is said that pulling the rope three times guarantees the fulfillment of a wish. Earlier on this place stood a Slavic temple in honor of the goddess Živa, the patroness of love.
