Among other things, go to a nearby national park. It stretches over an archipelago consisting of two larger islands (Veliki Brijun and Mali Brijun) and several smaller islands. Everyone will enjoy a boat trip to Brijuni, regardless of age. It is usually accompanied by a guide. The easiest way to get to the island is from Fazana. Every day, ferries run from the town to the park, and the journey itself takes about fifteen minutes.

In addition to the remains of Roman villas, you can see a fortress and the ruins of a church from the 5th century on the island. What particularly captivates tourists is nature. The island is covered with oaks, olive trees and many indigenous plant species. The local fauna is equally rich. During your visit, you will meet peacocks, mouflons, deer and hares. The Safari Park is home to Istrian sheep, cattle and a donkey. There are also exotic animals that appeared there during the life of the leader of Yugoslavia, Tito. This includes: the famous elephant Lenka and the cockatoo parrot Koki.
