Prague is an amazing city that is worth visiting not only because it is close and all friends have already been there. Amazing views, irresistible charm and unique atmosphere are the features that should attract you here. To be able to soak up the atmosphere of this place, put your motorhome on a camping site and set off into the city ... by bike!

Bicycle Prague

Prague and the bicycle are almost synonymous. Moving around the city by this means of transport gives not only convenience, but also freedom in choosing the place and time in which we will get to it. It is popular not only with locals, but also with tourists who prefer to travel healthily and comfortably rather than wallowing in the crowds of the metro. If you are planning a weekend getaway or a longer sightseeing trip, it is worth booking a place at the Sokol Praha campground, where your motorhome will be safe, and in the evening, after the tour, you will rest by the pool or sipping delicious Czech beer on a sunbed. To find out more about a campsite in Prague visit its profile in the campsite list. Due to the fact that the campsite is located within the city limits, you can get on your bike here and, riding between stylish tenement houses, start exploring this beautiful city.

Forgotten streets, wonderful architecture

In addition to the monuments that are obligatory for every tourist, such as Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Old Town Hall, Petřín Hill or the National Theater, you can visit numerous alleys by bike and venture out to districts that you will not find in the guidebooks. One of such places will be Żiżkov, known as Prague's Montmartre. Forgotten alleys are full of unusual pubs and bars, where residents linger looking for solace after a day's work. The air is filled with the smell of beer mixed with cigarette smoke, and the amazing, very friendly atmosphere pleases everyone, regardless of taste. You can wander around the beautiful streets by bike and admire the unusual tenement houses, stopping again and again in cafes and bars to quench your thirst and admire their amazing interiors.

Prague is surrounded by green parks

The bike will also be a very convenient way to explore the many parks and gardens that can be found in Prague. In the dendrological garden in Průhonice on an area of 72.8 hectares, you can admire nearly 8,000 species of plants, in the Vojanovy Sady park, which is the oldest in the city, it is best to simply sit on a bench and relax, gathering strength for further exploration, and in the park on the Petřín hill while driving along the charming alleys, admire the extraordinary view of the historic center of Prague. There are also several gardens in the city that are hard to find without knowing they exist. These carefully hidden are, for example, the Vrtba Garden and the Franciscan Garden next to Wenceslas Square.

The most beautiful, the tallest, the oldest - what is your Prague like?

Prague is the "most" city in many ways. In addition to being described as one of those with the most unique atmosphere, it also boasts the oldest cinema, the largest chandelier in Europe and the tallest statue of Stalin in the world. It is worth visiting all these places even for a moment, and driving towards them, admire the unusual architecture, monuments and soak up the extraordinary, one-of-a-kind atmosphere.
