Roman holiday
Central Italy, led by the Lazio region, is the annual destination of millions of tourists. Vacationers are attracted to them by the beauty of landscapes and numerous attractions - not only the Eternal City or the Holy See, but also the Tyrrhenian Sea coast, stretching on the west side, and the Apennine range, adorning the northeastern part.
In addition to a long and rich history, the "cradle of Western civilization and culture" is also famous for its delicious cuisine, the recipes of which often date back to antiquity. During your holidays in Lazio, you can try both traditional Italian dishes such as pizza or spaghetti (including alla putnesca, alla carbonara or romana), as well as others, such as baked artichokes with mint, olive oil and breadcrumbs - carciofi alla romana.
A trip to Rome
Separated from the world on two sides (from the east by a mountain range and from the west by water), Lazio is primarily a historical place, considered the cradle of ancient Italy. The family-run Camping Village Roma is located amid ancient buildings, buried in estates and surrounded by the beauty of the region. The center belongs to a group of campsites managed by the Human Company - the European leader in camping tourism.
Undoubtedly, the greatest advantage of the campsite is its location, as it is located in close proximity to the center of Rome. By car, we will reach the Vatican in just a quarter of an hour. In addition, we can easily get to the city by bus belonging to the camping, which runs between the camping and the center every hour or by public transport: by bus (there is a bus stop right at the entrance to the premises) and by metro (Cornelia station, line A). For vacationers who have chosen Camping Roma as their holiday destination, exploring Rome will be extremely easy.
Right next to the campsite there is a well-stocked supermarket, guests can also exchange currency at the exchange office, use the laundry room or barbecue area (for a fee). In addition, the campsite provides access to wireless Internet Wi-Fi. It is adapted to the needs of disabled people - there are ramps on its premises, tourists who have problems with independent movement can also use specially adapted bathrooms. In season, there is a restaurant serving Italian cuisine and delicious fresh pizza.
Camping in Rome
Camping Village Roma is a year-round facility, eagerly chosen by young people planning to spend their holidays in Italy as intensively as possible. They can not only quickly get to the attractions of Rome (and partygoers can enjoy a whole lot of entertainment there), but also have a great time at the campground itself. In high season, the outdoor swimming pool provides cooling, while the hot tub provides a romantic atmosphere. Active recreation enthusiasts can, among others play volleyball. The youngest will also find something for themselves, ranging from a playground to sports fields.
Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff and the atmosphere of the campground itself. For people who do not have their own motorhome or want to relax in more comfortable conditions, the resort offers places in houses and bungalows. You can stay in them around the clock (if someone is late, don't worry - accommodation will be waiting for us).
There is a supermarket in the immediate vicinity, as well as a cowboy-style restaurant and McDonald's, so if someone feels the desire to buy or eat something non-Italian, it will be easy to do so. For amateurs of regional cuisine there is a cozy restaurant that serves local delicacies and what Italy is most famous for - fresh pizza.
This is not all that camping guests can count on. Right next to the pool you will find a bar where you can have a snack or take advantage of the wide range of drinks to the music created by a private DJ. The restaurant is open in the season, until late at night (until 2:00).
From 23:00, security guards walk around the campsite, who, apart from order, also keep an eye on the curfew. Thanks to this, nothing will disturb our peaceful sleep.
