SKI Bachledova Dolina

About 15 kilometers from Łysa Polana, in a picturesque mountain scenery, is the Slovak ski resort Bachledova Dolina. It is a great place for a family holiday in the mountains and learning to ski.

Near the Polish-Slovak border, you will find resorts ideal for families with children and people who take their first steps on skis. In the picturesque region between Magura Spiska and the Belianske Tatras, there is SKI Bachledova Dolina , a ski resort very popular among winter sports enthusiasts. The popularity of the resort is influenced by several factors, including the high capacity of the lifts, easy accessibility and excellent skiing conditions. There is another resort, Jeziersko, in the immediate vicinity of the resort. Its routes are very easy to get to because they are connected with the routes of Bachledova Valley by a system of lifts. The main advantage of Bachledova Valley is the large number of easy and pleasant slopes, as well as the snow that remains on the trails for a long time. In addition to the routes for skiers, a new toboggan run has also been prepared, the beginning of which is on the snowrafting route. A ski school for children has also been opened, and fans of snowrafting can test their abilities on a new trail, created in the immediate vicinity of the Hrebeň ski slope. The resort also offers several cross-country ski runs (Dolina, Jazero and Hrebeň).

The total length of all routes is over 11 km, most of which (7.74 km) are easy blue routes. The red runs are only 1.77 km, and the black ones - 1.56 km. The trails are supported by a system of 10 lifts (8 ski lifts and 2 chairlifts). Their total capacity is 8,110 people per hour.

You can ski on the routes of Bachledova Dolina and the neighboring Jeziersk after purchasing one ski pass. For a 1-day pass for an adult we will pay EUR 25, and for children and pensioners - EUR 20. You have to pay 121 and 93 euros for a week on the slopes.

Once we take the skis off our feet, it's time for other pleasures. Guests of Bachledova Dolina have many opportunities to spend their free time, from a pleasant evening in a cozy restaurant, to getting acquainted with local attractions and monuments. One of the most famous is the open-air museum of regional construction with an ethnographic exhibition, thanks to which you can see what the interior of the local wooden huts looked like in the 19th century. The surrounding caves, including Lodowa, Bielska and the Cave of Liberty are also a big attraction.

Bachledowa Dolina offers visitors a number of attractions, attracting not only skiing enthusiasts. You can ride snowmobiles and take part in ski racing.
