When older people associate a nice-sounding name with the times of the Polish People's Republic, younger ones may wonder in which part of Poland the described city lies. Meanwhile, this resort is the largest resort in Bulgaria, sometimes referred to as Las Vegas of Eastern Europe.

Sunny Beach is located approx. 35 km north of Burgas. It is the country's most popular resort. The fact that it has been attracting tourists to the Black Sea coast for years is evidenced by the number of hotels in it - there are several hundred of them here. There are not much less restaurants, about 150.

Las Vegas of Eastern Europe

As a result, everyone except the householders will feel good here. You should definitely choose a different resort. Sunny Beach is dominated by youth, good fun and the desire to spend time at the highest speed.

In addition to the nightlife, the city also offers tourists a range of entertainment in two water parks. It is home to the largest and most modern water park in Bulgaria - Aqua Paradise Nessebar , a giant covering over 40,000 m² of space. Both in it and in smaller competitors, children whose height does not exceed 90 cm can play for free.

The charms of Sunny Beach

Sunny Beach prides itself on its name for a reason. The sun's rays illuminate the resort from the early morning hours, thanks to the eastern exposure. During summer holidays (July and August), the sun shines for over 300 hours, while in May and September - over 240 hours. It can therefore be assumed that a holiday in this part of Bulgaria is a guarantee of good weather.

There is heat in the air as well as in the water. The average sea temperature in summer reaches 24 ° C, encouraging long baths. Tourists are also tempted by the beach - beautiful, 6 km long and friendly sheltered by dunes. The purity of the fine, golden sand confirms the status of the Blue Flag . The bottom is safe and even, it slopes very gently at the level of Sunny Beach.

Hotels, guesthouses and what?

As already mentioned above, the most crowded Bulgarian resort consists largely of hotels. Guests can choose from offers ranging from intimate seats ensuring a minimum of comfort, and ending with luxurious apartments. But the tourist infrastructure of Sunny Beach has not forgotten about those who travel according to their own plan - caravanning enthusiasts. A quite nice place to stay is Camping Aheloyska Bitka .
