Venice is a city with a unique atmosphere, sentimental, surrounded by a climate of nostalgia and melancholy. For this reason, it is often chosen as the place of engagement. As eager as Paris - because isn't walking along the canal in a gondola as romantic as admiring the views from the top of the Eiffel Tower? For many people it is, but Venice is visited not only by those in love, planning to say "yes" to each other. Each year, the city of a thousand canals is flooded by crowds of tourists from all over the world, millions of people willing to see St. Mark with the Basilica, the Doge's Palace, the Grand Canal or the famous bridges: Rialto and the Bridge of Sighs.

Camping Village Jolly - close to everything

Venice has many advantages, but also some disadvantages. In addition to its great popularity, which translates into crowds and hustle and bustle until late at night, it is characterized by quite high prices for services, from hotels to restaurants. However, for a wanting person, nothing is difficult. If we want to spend a vacation in this beautiful city, without denying ourselves the pleasure, but also without losing a few payments, we can stay at one of the campsites belonging to the Human Company network.

The site in question is Camping Village Jolly , situated between Mestre and Marghera, approximately one kilometer from the A4 motorway. It is an excellent starting point for both Venice and other Italian tourist gems - Ravenna, Verona and Padua. One of its great advantages (apart from location) is the option of transport to Venice itself. There is a Shuttle Bus on the site of the Village Jolly, a stop where a dedicated shuttle leaves every hour.

For approx. 2.5 euro / person. you can get to the city center, to the Piazzale Roma square. And there, all you need to do is change to the water tram or go ahead and enjoy the walk along the picturesque streets of the bustling and colorful Venice. However, it is better to remember to book the course in advance - camping buses are very popular, not only among families with children.

Holidays on the warm waters of the Adriatic Sea

Village Jolly allows not only efficient access to "the most beautiful city in the world". Tourists who want to spend their vacation on the Adriatic Sea in the period from mid-June to mid-September, can take advantage of the offer of transport from the airport. All you need to do is notify the campsite staff about the date of the flight and wait for them after reaching Venice Marco Polo airport. From May to October, the property offers a shuttle service from Tronchetto Island on request and at an additional cost.

Vacationers who prefer to plan both their arrival at the campsite and their Venice sightseeing can choose between the train (distance to the train station - approx. 2 km) and the city bus. The stop is located approx. 600 meters from Village Jolly. It takes you to the Venezia Santa Lucia train station and Piazzale Roma.

Leisure in Italy

Guests have at their disposal separate plots and places in rooms with air conditioning, bungalows and cottages. There are also several pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents within the Village Jolly, but there are so few of them that advance booking is recommended. Tourists spending their holidays at the campsite praise the wide range of amenities offered and at the same time favorable prices of services - attractive especially from the point of view of an excellent location.

There are grocery stores on the campsite, where you can buy, among others fresh bread, snack bar and restaurant. If you feel like having delicious, real Italian coffee , you don't have to look far for it - the one served in the restaurant pavilion is appreciated by many guests. There are also a few nice pubs in the area.

Despite the fact that the campsite is relatively small (when compared to other Human Company facilities), boredom does not threaten us. If someone loves water so much that they would rather not leave it, they will feel ... like a fish in water. There are two outdoor pools (one large and one smaller for kids). There is also a hot tub. In addition to swimming, you can spend time playing volleyball or billiards and having fun in the nightclub. Let's also not forget that the whole range of attractions of the Venetian Lagoon awaits you to discover.
