The campsite is located on the edge of Lake Wolfgangsee, nestled in the mountains, just 40 km east of Salzburg. This is an excellent family campsite with a good restaurant, modern amenities, and grassy pitches. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Private bathrooms are available for rent in the sanitary building. Berau Campsite has its own attractive bay with a marina and beach. Entertainment is offered during the season, and a shop is open for essentials. The campsite is located near the town of Wolfgangsee (2 km) in a picturesque setting with charming villages and beautiful landscapes. The area is home to many historical sites and attractions in the "Salzkammergut" region, including a salt mine, Mozart's birthplace of Salzburg, and the summer residence of Emperor Franz Josef and Sissy.
