Camp Viter

If you are driving from Split towards Dubrovnik, somewhere halfway in the south of the Makarska Riviera, you will come across the small idyllic village of Zaostrog.

Advantageous geographic and communication location make Zaostrog and Camping Viter an ideal starting point for day trips, not only to the beautiful UNESCO-listed towns, but also to Mostar and Medjugorje, the islands of Hvar and Korčula and the Pelješac peninsula, which are about one and a half minutes away from us hours.

On an area of approximately 1.2 hectares, the campsite offers accommodation on 122 pitches, partly in the sun and partly in the coolness of olive, laurel and oak trees, for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Close to the campsite you will find shops, bakeries, post office, exchange office, ATM and several cafes and restaurants with Dalmatian specialties. For other needs, you can go to Makarska (25 km), Ploče (17 km) and also to the nearby Gradac (5 km).

Calming greenery, family atmosphere, proximity to the beach (approx. 20 m) and the possibility of walking and cycling along the beach and in the surrounding hills make the campsite the perfect place to escape from everyday life and fully relax. If you want to learn more about the further surroundings of Zaostrog, we suggest you devote yourself to the completely natural beauty and adventure of discovering the Cetina River, Neretva Delta, Baćin Lakes, Biokowo Nature Park and Kravice Waterfalls (BiH).
