A real caravanning LUXURY

You think that 100,000 dollars for a motorhome is a lot? You will change your mind when you change your perspective. To purchase one of the most expensive motorhomes in the world, you will need a budget of well over $ 2 million.

Americans and Canadians excel in the production of luxury A-class motorhomes . There is nothing strange to see a cosmic-looking bus, often with graphics in the shape of burning flames, inside which the interior is completely forgotten about moderation. Perfect wood, high-quality leather and the most expensive equipment are standard in each of them.

Not all manufacturers are willing to quote the prices of their vehicles, anyway, the final price usually differs significantly from the initial one. If we want to drive a really luxurious motorhome, we can start from the price of about 300-400 thousand. However, by adjusting the details of the equipment to your whims, we can quickly exceed the price of a million or even two million dollars . We can be sure of one thing - another such vehicle, with exactly identical equipment, we will not find. Each one copy is unique.

Liberty Elegant Lady 2014 coach motorhome

The Coach Liberty vehicles are based on the industry's most popular (at least in North America) buses from the Canadian Prevost brand. This is also the case here. The Prevost H3-45 is powered by a Volvo D13 engine.

From the outside, this bus looks like many similar ones, so to see what we are really dealing with we have to look inside. And there, which is rare in American buses, we find a finish in delicate colors of black, gray and white. The luxury is emphasized by brass and gold-colored accessories .

This discreet elegance means that we will not immediately notice, for example, a white heating plate and numerous LCD screens. The equipment comes from Miele and Bosh . The Creston remote control system is integrated with the iPad mini . In addition, a two-way Full HDMI Audio-Video system, a 60-inch TV and a 4-zone underfloor heating system were installed.

King Aire 2014

This bus was built on the chassis of the Spartan Chassis company, which specializes in the production of components for A-class motorhomes. The vehicle is powered by a 600 HP Cummins ISX engine .

In this over 13-meter colossus, we will of course find tanks for water and sewage. But these are not the babies we are used to. The tanks in European motorhomes often have a capacity of 30 liters, sometimes 100 liters. Meanwhile, in King Aire, the wastewater tank holds 227 liters, the gray water tank has a capacity of more than 300 liters, and the water tank capacity is 530 liters .

What else distinguishes this bus? It is clear that such a vehicle must have televisions, including retractable televisions. It may come as a surprise, however, that the TV and audio player can also be found outside , above one of the cavernous luggage compartments. Retractable walls allow you to expand the space inside the vehicle. You can control interior items such as lighting and air conditioning using a Sony tablet. The washbasin and the sink are made of glass with a carved gold-colored filling, and in the kitchen and bathroom the walls are tiled with a mosaic of glass and metal .

Volkner Mobil 900 - 1200 HG

In Europe, he tries to keep pace with luxury motorhomes from America, among others German Volkner, although it must be admitted right away that the vehicles of this brand are not as spectacular. However, it is worth paying attention to the Volkner Mobil 900 - 1200 series, which is based on Mercedes Atego and Actros . Each variant, both 9-meter and 12-meter long, can be equipped with a garage for a small car (eg Mini).

These motorhomes have air suspension and I-Shift gearbox. The cockpit can be covered with wood and leather or carbon fiber composites. The details of the equipment are determined individually, as are the finishing variants. Depending on the options selected, we can find wood, leather, aluminum, steel, marble or granite inside - all of the highest quality, of course.

You can have it all

We can mount anything in a top-of-the-range motorhome, as long as it is really expensive. Another issue that we will not settle here is that of taste.

One can get the impression that placing everything that is most expensive in one interior does not make every interior truly beautiful. But where design ends and kitsch begins, everyone has to judge individually.
