Arca motorhomes - for those for whom appearance matters

Although the Italian Arca offers well-equipped motorhomes, their biggest distinguishing feature is their attractive appearance. And because we like to drive cars that look good, Arca could probably count on interest also in Poland.

In Italy, Arca is almost synonymous with a motorhome. It all started in the mid-1950s, when the idea came to take the wheels off the caravan and install the living area on the truck chassis. It took several years to transform the idea into a specific product, and finally, in 1961, the Arca Noe model was presented at the Genoa Boat Show.

Noah's Ark was also developed in the following years, and the company was not afraid of experiments, as evidenced by, for example, the Arca Scout model - an off-road motorhome from 1977.

Predatory design

Currently, Arca produces both fully integrated and partially integrated motorhomes, with an alcove above the driver's cabin and without an alcove.

But it is the integrated cars, offered by the company under the "motorhome" slogan, that arouse the greatest interest. The reason is the appearance of these motorhomes.

Arca is not the first brand that proves that Italians can design cars - at least visually. The models from the Arca H series have a modern and dynamic, and in some cases also a slightly predatory look, which - it must be admitted - is rare in the family of motorhomes. Their front is made of carbon fiber .

The impression of luxury

You won't feel disappointed in the interior either. LEDs are responsible for all lighting in all rooms. Strips and lots of nicely designed light points add modernity to the interior arranged rather typically for modern motorhomes.

Wood-colored surfaces are intertwined with white elements, and handles, batteries and small accessories in the color of chrome-plated steel add a touch of elegance to Arca motorhomes. The impression of subtle luxury is enhanced by light upholstery of armchairs, sofas and beds made only of natural materials (linen and cotton). Apparently without a revolution, but still nice.

A solid foundation

Arca offers five motorhome models. All of them are based on Fiat Ducato with a 2.3-liter diesel engine and 130 or 150 HP (to choose from). There is also a version with a 3-liter engine with 180 hp .

The basic model H715 GLT measures 715 cm , is 235 cm wide and 295 cm high. There are 4 sleeping places in the car.

The double bed is located at the front of the vehicle, suspended from the ceiling. Two sleeping places are also located at the end of the vehicle (across) and positioned in such a way that the two sleeping persons can touch their feet . Therefore, this motorhome was definitely designed for parents with two children.

We managed to find a fairly large bathroom with a separate place for a shower (you do not have to wade in the paddling pool to use the toilet).

The clean water tank has a capacity of 100 liters . The toilet and the waste water tank can hold a maximum of 56 liters. More or less in the middle of the vehicle there is a Truma Combi heater with a power of 6000 Watt . Thanks to this location, the air is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the motorhome.

The fridge with freezer compartment has a capacity of 135 liters. Interestingly, the kitchen worktop with a sink cast in it is made of fiberglass . The paddling pool and washbasin are made of the same material.

A higher standard

Many elements from the basic equipment can also be found in higher models. However, there are also clear differences. The H725 GLM model measures 738 cm , so not much more than the lower model. However, it looks much better and has better equipment - e.g. a rear view camera as standard and a table mounted on two axles. The refrigerator in this case has 190 liters, and the kitchen countertop is larger and made of a different material than the sink (this distinguishes this model from all the others).

The shower cubicle is in a separate room.

The other models are H725 GLM (with garage), H738 GLC and H740 GLC . The latter model is the so-called "Full option" - a motorhome with a length of 740 cm has two large, double beds on board, one of which can be set in a comfortable reading position. A double wardrobe, an electric sunroof, a retractable TV or padded wall panels are just some of the equipment of this motorhome.

A great look and good equipment are certainly the advantages of Arca motorhomes. So maybe it's time for a Polish distributor to seriously get interested in this brand? We are looking forward to.
