Astella - a trailer in a glamor style

Aerodynamic, modern shape, high-class furniture and additional solutions improving functionality - these are certainly important advantages of the Astella Glam Edition caravan by Adria. But the most important thing is its luxurious style and splendor evoking associations with a yacht, by no means the cheapest one.

How about a TV set hidden in the table top, which only gently slides out of it when needed? How about a spacious bathroom with a separate, glass shower enclosure? Or maybe you are interested in a microwave oven, cleverly hidden behind a door integrated with the refrigerator?

Three-burner gas stove? No problem - the burners do not have to be pushed one above the other, but they can be placed in series, which will make cooking easier. There are additional compartments hidden in soft-closing drawers, and where possible, tasteful cabinets take up every part of the wall.

There was also space for a storage compartment under the floor or a luggage compartment in the rear part of the trailer.

Not only the advantages

In my opinion, this trailer is delightful, but - as is often the case - the devil is in the details.

First of all - many of the great solutions are available only for an additional fee. Secondly, to take advantage of the spacious bathroom, you need to choose the 2-seater version of the 663 HT. In the 4-person 563 PU - we have to agree to a much less comfortable toilet part and a cut corner in the double bed (this is necessary to get to the bathroom).

The interior for two people is much better in this comparison, but it is certainly not a proposal suitable for couples with children. In turn, the family version may disappoint if you expect non-standard spaciousness.

It's time to look at the technical specifications. The 563 PU model is 618 cm long, but 565 cm can be used inside. The width is 245 cm, but there is only 231 cm to use inside - it is not very much. The maximum permissible total weight of this trailer is 1,800 kg.

For comparison - the 663 HT model is 725 cm long (663 cm inside) and the width is the same as in the shorter version. The permissible total weight is 2,000 kg.

As standard and at an additional cost

The equipment of both versions of Glam Astelli is similar. We can count on a 50-liter clean water tank, gas heating, and a water heater. As standard, we will receive foam mattresses, a steel sink, a refrigerator with a capacity of 155 liters (190 liters on the 663 HT model), external water connection, 230V sockets and even a USB socket.

For an additional fee, the caravan can also be equipped with leather upholstery, underfloor heating, high-end CD / USB player with Bose speakers, roof air conditioning, as well as a microwave and an oven. Unfortunately, the sewage tank requires additional payment. For an additional fee, the trailer can be equipped with both alloy wheels and the ATC stabilizing system.

How much do you have to pay for a glamor-style caravan? The price also belongs to the upper class - it is about 23 thousand. euro. for the version with standard equipment. There is no wonder, however. A yacht on wheels has to cost accordingly.
