LMC Cruiser SportLine - many advantages, few disadvantages
The LMC Cruiser SportLine is a partially integrated motorhome based on the Fiat Ducato. Actually standard. However, it is worth paying attention to this model, because it is quite spacious, and the manufacturer gives a 12-year warranty on the tightness of the body.
It is inconspicuous from the outside, it shows its possibilities in the interior. Cruiser SportLine is available in 5 versions - the offer includes 2 models with single beds and 3 with double beds. The shortest version measures 599 cm , and the longest - 738 cm. There are also variants with a length of 698 and 722.5 cm.
Individual versions differ quite significantly in interior layouts. The bathroom can be located at the side wall or at the back, it can be combined with a shower cubicle or divided into two rooms, the kitchen can have a large or small worktop.
You can recharge
For each standard version, the permissible total weight is 3.5 tonnes, so even the longest vehicle can be driven on the road with a category B driving license.
However, what is particularly important in this case is the high load capacity . The SportLine models are so light that they can be additionally loaded - depending on the version - up to 860 kg. In the case of the heaviest variety, Cruiser SportLine 712, 680 kg remain undeveloped.
Motorhome with garage
One of the most interesting versions is the Cruiser SportLine - 672 G. The letter at the end points to a garage hidden under high-placed single beds. We can access it not only from the outside, but also from the inside, through a closed opening between the beds. Considering that the garage is spacious and the load capacity of this version is 800 kg , you can transport a lot of heavy items in the motorhome. The bikes will also fit.
The interior of the LMC motorhome looks typical of modern touring cars. The advantages are numerous wardrobes, cupboards, soft-closing drawers, clothes hangers and even a shoe cabinet . Minuses? The hangers are so weak that they can have a problem with keeping, for example, a heavy jacket, and only small-sized shoes will fit in the stowage compartment.
When writing about the advantages, it is worth mentioning the kitchen part with a large, for a motorhome, worktop and a bathroom with a retractable shower cubicle of satisfactory sizes. In the bathroom you will also find two double cabinets with mirrors . The metal handle on the bathroom door makes a solid impression.
The disadvantages include quite poor lighting . Yes, there are skylights, there are side windows, tinted LED lamps are installed, but LMC competitors now offer more light points. In the Cruiser SportLine model, the darkness will be particularly acute if we want to look into, for example, the wardrobe under the bed - daylight does not reach there and there is no internal lighting.
Users also complain about the fold-out bed in the dining room . It has not been thought out very well and it is better to use it as an emergency sleeper or as a bed for small children.
The standard equipment includes a fresh water tank with a capacity of 102 liters, a boiler, a 95-liter waste water tank and a high-class heating system Truma Combi 6 . The standard also includes a 108-liter fridge-freezer and even a smoke detector.
Long warranty
The body uses polyester resin reinforced with glass fiber - the so-called GFK . It is from this material that the roof and the chassis are made. On the side and rear walls of the vehicle, among others, aluminum. Thanks to this design, the manufacturer can guarantee that no moisture will get into the body for a minimum of 12 years of proper use of the motorhome.
In Germany, prices range from 47,200 to 68,100 euros (for versions with standard equipment). An interesting additional option is a raised material roof mounted in the roof , where you can place additional sleep.
