Travel safely with the whole family in the Jayco Swan Outback trailer
The American company Jayco appeared on the market in 1975, currently it is one of the most recognizable brands in the caravanning industry on that market. Where to look for sources of success? Perhaps at the affordable prices, interesting designs, or family amenities that Jayco is so focused on. The Swan Outback trailer is undoubtedly a combination of these three factors.
Technological solutions
It looks inconspicuously complex, but don't be fooled - the caravan can accommodate 5 to 8 people and offers 7 different levels that can be used depending on your individual needs. Setting up the Swan Outback is quick and simple, thanks to the correct hoist system that minimizes effort. The manufacturer used a special quad-core construction technology , which allowed for the construction of stronger, but also lighter walls. It is also worth emphasizing the quality of construction materials. Part of the tent is made of a special canvas of the Australian brand Bradmil , double stitching and computer cuts were used. One-piece glass fiber was used in the construction of the roof.
Jayco advertises its trailers primarily as the best solution for traveling families, therefore safety issues are extremely important for the manufacturer. The Swan Outback has JTECH suspension, which allows for very precise handling and increases driving comfort. In addition, the Australian company used an electronic stability system ( ALKO Electronic Stability Control ), which controls the sway and wobbling of the trailer. Tires are inflated with nitrogen , which makes them more durable, which also affects fuel consumption.
Equipment and additional options
The Jayco caravan may not offer the most luxurious and designer interiors, but we can find basic equipment in it. In the back there is a large queen size bed (1430 mm wide), in the kitchen there is a Thetford fridge with freezer and a stove and oven. The seating area is made of Dunlop antibacterial foam , which is characterized by high elasticity and durability. In addition, the Australian manufacturer offers, among others Euro Style furniture and LED lighting. Unfortunately, the equipment does not include a toilet, and an external shower is only available as an option . We also have to pay extra if we want to afford amenities such as: awnings, air conditioning, external grill, solar panel or roof rack.
Not only mobile
Swan Outback is not without its flaws, but still gains more and more fans. It is a caravan that will be perfect for families who decide to start their travel adventure. Despite the fact that it is mainly adapted to summer, short trips, it can also be used in other ways. Located in the garden, it can successfully be used as an additional space for rest and relaxation.
The new caravan costs between 20 and 40 thousand Australian dollars , it is also worth paying attention to the slightly older models, which are available at very attractive prices.
