This year's Poznań Motor Show 2018 will be held under the slogan "Automotive of Tomorrow" - at the fair you will be able to see over 60 automotive premieres, concept cars and a vision of the automotive industry according to designers and engineers of the future.
The organizers focused not only on the number of concept vehicles, but also cars with alternative drives, which are to become the future of the automotive industry.
Let's get down to business!
BMW Hybrid Debut
It is worth seeing what the BMW brand has prepared. The latest sports BMW i 8 Roadster plug-in hybrid will make its debut at the Poznań Motor Show. The BMW M5 , a sports limousine that will be the first M model to be equipped with the intelligent M xDrive all-wheel drive, and the second generation of the BMW X4 , the popular Sports Activity Coupé, will also have their Polish premieres.
The five premieres of Mercedes
Mercedes will not disappoint either. The brand will present as many as five Polish premieres . The Mercedes A-Class opens it. Here we will be surprised by voice control. After the command "Hey Mercedes" you can talk to the vehicle in Polish - for example, set the temperature, change the lighting, or select a destination in the navigation.
There will also be the latest incarnation of the iconic G-Class . The vehicle, while maintaining its off-road characteristics, offers an even higher degree of comfort and more modern on-board systems.
Two models, the Mercedes-AMG series 53 - CLS and the E-Class Cabriolet , will probably be equally exciting. An important novelty will be the flagship S-Class in the restyled Coupe version .
Mazda 6 premiere
It is worth turning your eyes to Japan. The April motor show in Poznań will be the venue for the Polish premiere of the new Mazda 6 , distinguished by an elegant exterior design and a new interior design. The sophisticated style of the Mazda 6 is crowned by a special version of Sky DREAM , equipped with exclusive Nappa leather upholstery, in perfect harmony with the interior elements made of Sen wood, which is used in Japanese tradition for the construction of musical instruments and furniture production.
Honda CR-V and NSX
During this year's edition of the Geneva Motor Show, Honda presented the European production version of the brand new CR-V model, which we will also see in Poznań. This is the new generation of the world's best-selling SUV.
There is also something for speed enthusiasts. The legendary NSX model in a new version will also be present at the Honda stand. The manufacturer boasts that the holistic approach to the car design, technologies used and the production process of the new Honda NSX has resulted in the creation of a supercar that responds extremely precisely and dynamically to the driver's commands, providing - as the model name suggests - "New Sports eXperience".
Toyota Aygo facelift
The Poznań fair will also be the venue for the Polish premiere of Toyota Aygo after facelift. Its front is adorned with a three-dimensional X sign, while redesigned LED lights appear on the front and rear.
Hyundai KONA Electric and the new Santa Fe
During this year's motor show in Poznań, Hyundai will present two completely new models. Hyundai KONA Electric will have its Polish premiere - the first sub-compact SUV with electric drive in Europe. The completely new fourth-generation Santa Fe model will also be shown to the Polish public for the first time.
Volkswagen Group and its news
Volkswagen, liked by Poles, will show the new Touareg . The world premiere of this model will take place in China (March 23) - the fastest growing SUV market in the world. In Europe, the car will be shown for the first time during the Poznań Motor Show.
Another premiere is the ID Buzz - Volkswagen I studio. The new electric van is one of the four models from the ID family that Volkswagen has presented so far, which paves the way for the future. These are new generation electric cars with a range of approx. 600 km. The battery can be charged up to 80% in just over half an hour.
Like Volkswagen, so is Skoda . The brand boasts the VISION E concept model. It is the first semi-autonomous electric model in the history of the brand. Presented for the first time to the European public last year at the Frankfurt fair, it impresses with a number of modern solutions in the field of data exchange. We will also see Fabia after a facelift.
News from Citroën
Citroën was not idle either. During this year's Poznań Motor Show, the brand will present the new Berlingo in Poland for the first time . This is the third generation of the Citroën icon, which created the estate segment.
The second of the novelties will be the updated Citroën C4 Cactus , which has undergone profound changes in terms of technology and engines. The new version of the C3 in the ELLE special series will also make its debut at the Poznań fair. Is there a new fashion getting ready?
The brand's display will be completed by a new compact SUV, the Citroën C3 Aircross , which is distinguished by 90 combinations of body customization.
Peugeot is changing
The star of the Peugeot stand will be the new 508 model, which recently premiered in Geneva, which will be presented to the Polish public for the first time . It is distinguished by a sharp and muscular style. The use of a frameless door emphasizes the character of the coupé.
The second premiere of the brand will be the successor of Partner Tepee - the Rifter model. The design is reminiscent of SUVs. It offers a lot of practical solutions and space as well as comfort and safety of driving.
As you can see, there will be lots to see, and this is just an exhibition of passenger cars. There are still motorcycles, trucks and campers waiting for us! Besides, a lot of other stands, including automotive technology, lifting technology, old-cars and a whole lot of accompanying events. So, after Christmas, the march to Poznań.
