The Motor Show in Poznań has been the largest automotive event in Poland for many years. Last year, over 113,000 visitors saw cars, motorbikes and campers. This year it can be even better, because the exhibitors have announced some interesting premieres and a whole lot of new products.
Hundreds of cars of many brands are gathered next to each other, which causes real crowds to pass through the exhibition halls every year. This year should also be interesting, the more that each of the 120 exhibitors has prepared many attractions, and the fair is accompanied by many additional events.
In a nutshell, let's see what novelties can be expected in the main part of the Motor Show. Please note that this is only a selection, because there will be many more models on display!
BMW - a brand that was not present at the fair in previous years - will show Mini cars this year. The Mini Cabrio will have its Polish premiere. Citroen intends to encourage enthusiasts of active leisure to take a close look at the new SpaceTourer, which has just been shown in Geneva.
For the first time in Europe, Hyundai will present the all-new Elantra model, which is set to become a new hit of the Korean brand. In addition, for the first time in Poland, Hyundai will show a hybrid called IONIQ. Another Korean producer will also present its counteroffer. Two cars will have their Polish premiere at the Kia stand - the Optima station wagon and the Niro hybrid crossover.
Mazda will present the entire renewed model range, while Mercedes will focus on convincing the public about the advantages of the new E-Class. But this is not the end, because the German brand is planning a real offensive in Poznań. You will be able to see such novelties as the Mercedes SLC (former SLK after modernization), the improved SL model and the S-class with a convertible body.
Who likes to see vehicles in concept versions, must not miss the Mitsubishi stand, where, among others, eX Koncept model - compact SUV with electric drive and Mitsubishi L200 in a special version called Monster (adapted to driving in difficult terrain).
While Peugeot will focus on the 2008 SUV in Poznań, the announcements of its competitor, Renault , are much more extensive. The French brand will show the latest Megane model at the Motor Show, in addition in a sporty GT version. Certainly, many people will want to try the larger Talisman model that has replaced the Laguna. The new edition of Espace and Kadjar are the next models that we will see at the Renault stand.
The Polish premiere of the newest Suzuki Baleno hatchback will take place during the Motor Show. But the stand of Skoda , which is extremely popular in Poland, will probably be more crowded anyway. The Czech brand will present, among others The Superb model in the SportLine version with a more aggressive character than the standard model. An exciting curiosity will certainly be the Skoda Rapid Sport, which exists only in one copy in the world. In addition, this year Skoda focuses on 4x4 models, so we will be able to see the Octavia Scout, Yeti Outdoor, Superb Combi 4x4 and Octavia RS 4x4 versions in detail.
At the Toyota stand, we will be able to see, among others RAV4 Hybrid and GT86 models - a sports masterpiece of the Japanese brand. In addition, the full range of Toyota models will be available. It should be no different at the Volkswagen stand, where you will be able to sit at the controls of all popular cars of this brand. The Tiguan SUV will have its Polish premiere in Poznań - lighter and more spacious than its predecessor.
Volvo will show four models at its stand, including the V90, a luxury estate car that made its debut in Geneva in March. In addition, the Swedes have prepared the XC90 Excellence, S90 and S60 Polestar cars.
The Motor Show is not only about the premieres of cars, but also the Motorcycle Showroom, Motor Show Truck and a part that is particularly important to us - the Caravanning Salon with a Camprest stand. The Modified Car Exhibition may also be a big attraction. However, there will be many more accompanying events, so we will return to the topic in the next announcement.
