Price list

  • One person in a camper – EUR 640
  • Two people in a camper – EUR 1,200
  • Another adult (over 13 years of age) in the camper – EUR 560
  • Children aged 3-13 – EUR 300
  • Children 0-3 – free

Please note that children up to 3 years of age do not pay for the trip, but they do not have a meal option. We didn't want to have to pay anything for such small children, because we know from experience that at dinner time in Italy (7 p.m. - 8 p.m.), Polish children often already have dinner and either snack from their parents' plates. When traveling with smaller children, we ordered paid dishes from the menu, such as a portion of fries, a small portion of gnocchi or pizza.

Drei Zinnen – a paradise for children

Drei Zinnen is, of course, a place for skiers of all abilities, but it is worth noting that one of the local peaks, Monte Elmo, is a real paradise for children. Flat, wide routes will allow for safe learning under the supervision of parents or instructors.

We personally also really liked the beautiful blue route from the top of Croda Rossa. We visited this part of Drei Zinnen most often, because there is also a special toboggan run for amateurs, reindeer, and a nice ski slope with interesting sculptures that encourage children to go down to discover more statues.

In the Rotwandweishutte shelter at the top of Croda Rossa, in addition to delicious food, you will also find free sliding on inflatable wheels.

Drei Zinnen is not as popular a destination as nearby Kronplatz and perhaps that is why the slopes are a bit more relaxed here. We consider Drei Zinnen to be a great place to spend your winter holidays.

The cost of a ski pass in Drei Zinnen 2022/2023

A 6-day ski pass for an adult during the holidays costs EUR 347 this season . We have added a screenshot of the price list from the official Drei Zinnen website to the photo gallery.

Children born after November 26, 2006 will pay EUR 243 for such a pass (it is a Junior pass), and seniors born before November 26, 1957 will pay EUR 312.

Children born after November 26, 2014 can receive free ski passes if purchased by an adult for the same period (one adult for each child).

What are the facilities at Caravan Park Sexten

If you don't know Caravan Park Sexten yet, I will briefly tell you what you can expect at this 5-star campsite in the Dolomites.

Attractions for children

The campsite has a heated playroom with childcare. You can leave your child for a specified period of time if you provide your telephone number and your plot number. It is open almost every day. There is a cinema room where a film is shown every day at 4 p.m. Children choose what they want to see. Next to this closed playroom with an animator, there is also a games room open 24 hours a day with table football, a ping-pong table, sofas and a TV. It's also very warm here.

Heated toilets

Caravan park Sexten is famous for its bathrooms. They are very warm and you can easily undress down to your underwear. The water is always warm, the cabins are large. So big that you can easily bathe your children here. They also have plenty of hooks to hang clothes. There are hair dryers. There are washing machines and tumble dryers on site.

Ski room

Well, when we talk about drying clothes, we must mention large ski rooms and ski equipment drying rooms. They are free and lockable. You can also take a padlock with you to attach your equipment to the existing steel cables on the shelves. I also hung children's clothes in the drying room. There is really a lot of space for this.

There is also a Papin Sport equipment rental in the ski center, but it is only a branch of their main office located in the city center. They don't have full sizes and equipment here, so it's better to arrange ski, snowboard or sled rental a day in advance.

Campsite right next to the ski slope

Caravan Park Sexten is located directly on the ski slope leading to the Signaue lift. From there you can take two directions. You will take one gondola to the summit of Croda Rossa and the other to Monte Elmo.

You can get to the Signaue cable car with a free ski bus, which stops directly at the campsite and runs every 10 minutes in the morning.

Dog-friendly campsite

You can come to the campsite with your dog. You can rent a dog kennel here or purchase care for your dog while you are away from the camper. There is a shower for dogs and you can enter all restaurants with your pets.

Caravan Park Sexten at the Caravans Salon fair in Poznań

If you are going to the Caravans Salon in Poznań this year, you can talk to a representative of the campsite at our stand. You can ask him about all the amenities and attractions nearby. Davide is a skiing, climbing and MTB guide.

Polish ski school in Drei Zinnen

There is a Polish ski school in Sexten throughout the winter, providing training for both children and adults. Unfortunately, they do not conduct training from scratch.

Special prices for participants of our trips are:

  • Children 2017-2020 – EUR 380

Busik Po Bezdrożach - part III
Busik Po Bezdrożach - part III. We start our trip to the mountains with a walk around the stands to buy a map of Fogarasha. We manage to find one for 18RON, unfortunately, apart from the marked routes, there is nothing else, we were especially troubled by the lack of transition times, which were not even on the trail. Before leaving, I tried to find some information about the ascent of Moldoveanu. On one of the blogs I read that the trip back and forth takes about 3 days, google maps showed less than 4 hours, and rescuers at the shelter stated that it was about 10 hours of hiking, in one of the mountain magazines that Asia took with her they also wrote about a 3-day trip expedition, so we took this time. It's not a problem for us, we have tents and a rolling pin, you can go. However, we only had 2 days to reach the highest peak in Romania. The first ascent and the only signpost with the given time (1h) led to the pass above the shelter, the ascent was quite steep and rocky, sometimes very slippery, but as it was one of the attractions on the Transfogarska route, Sunday tourists climbing in white sneakers could not be missing there , bootki or flip-flops. I thought that such views are only with us. It took us about 30 minutes to get to the first hiking point. At the top, Dominika remembered that she had forgotten to take the tablets from the car without which she could not go any further. Well, it was late, not a long time, and a long way to go. I left my backpack and decided to go get it, because it will be faster this way. I treated myself to skyrunning training, I ran down the hill quite quickly, I took what I needed and I had to try again ... I turned the whole thing in 50 minutes. I felt my thighs and calves mercifully, what my heart loves, but Dominika's legs hated it: P Fortunately, as a reward at the top there was a chunk of bread with chocolate cream and a kiss. We threw the backpacks on our backs again and moved on. After a while all the tourists on Sunday disappeared and the trail became almost empty. We were surrounded by more and more beautiful views, but the trail was becoming more and more demanding, from steep, almost vertical descents to similar entrances, chains began to appear. There are no signposts, but only once in a while there is a trail marking that is faded from the sun or washed away by rain. Daniel wondered how Barry would manage in the mountains. However, Barry is not an ordinary mongrel, but rather a mountain goat mixed with a pooch. I have never seen (even in movies) that a dog could cope with the rocks so well, he would easily climb to Rysy, and Orla Perć would not be scary for him if he could enter the TPN; D.
