Winter camper trip with CampRest 2027 - a week full of attractions in the Dolomites!
Skiing in the Dolomites, mountain excursions, sledding on a special track, evenings at the communal table, and a great atmosphere! From March 6–13, 2027, we invite you to the 8th CampRest Winter Getaway at Camping Vidor in Val di Fassa, Italy. We've prepared a week full of attractions for both skiing enthusiasts and those who prefer to explore the mountains without skis. Registration is now open, but places are limited!
Winter camper trips with CampRest have become a tradition. Every year, we meet in the Dolomites to enjoy the delights of winter, discover new places, and spend time with people who share a passion for caravanning.
In 2027, we'll meet again at Camping Vidor in Pozza di Fassa. This time, we've prepared a program that, in addition to skiing, includes two trips to other ski resorts, hiking, sledding, local wine tasting, and, of course, our evening get-togethers.
You don't have to be an avid skier to have fun with us. The program has been designed so that everyone can find something for themselves, regardless of age or skiing ability.
Camping Vidor - the perfect place for a winter camper trip
Camping Vidor is one of those campsites that proves that camping doesn't end with winter. Located in the heart of the Dolomites, in the Val di Fassa valley, it offers excellent conditions for a winter holiday.
Its biggest advantage is direct access to the ski slopes. In the morning, you can put on your skis practically right next to your camper and hit the slopes, without having to drive every day.
On-site facilities also include a restaurant, bathrooms adapted for winter caravanning, and a wellness area with swimming pools and saunas. After a day in the snow, you can relax in the warm water or meet up with other participants.
During our week-long stay, participants will be accommodated in Comfort pitches. Camping Vidor is the event organizer, and CampRest is the partner responsible for promotion and registration.
CampRest 2027 winter trip program - what will we do?
We've prepared eight days full of winter attractions. There will be time for skiing, hiking, discovering regional flavors, and having fun together. Some activities are alternatives to skiing, so everyone can tailor the day to their interests.
Saturday, March 6 - Arrival and Welcome Dinner
Our winter week begins! Upon arrival at Camping Vidor, participants will settle into their pitches and have time to unpack and prepare their campers for their stay.
In the evening, we'll gather for a welcome dinner. This is a great opportunity to meet new participants, greet friends from previous trips, and begin our shared adventure.
Sunday, March 7 - Ski or winter tour with a guide
Your first full day on the snow! Ski enthusiasts can hit the slopes directly from the campsite and spend a full day on the slopes of the Dolomites.
For those who prefer more leisurely activities, we've prepared a guided hiking tour. The program includes a walk through the winter scenery and lunch at a mountain hut.
In the evening we will all meet again for dinner at the campsite.
Monday, March 8 - Skiing, local burgers and a torchlight walk
During the day you will be able to ski on the nearby slopes again.
In the evening, one of the most atmospheric attractions of the trip awaits us - a shared dinner at a mountain farm, where we will try the famous burgers prepared with local products, in line with the "0 km" idea.
After dinner, we'll set off on our return journey, torchlight in hand. The winter mountain landscape, torchlight, and shared hike will surely make this evening one we'll remember for a long time.
Tuesday, March 9 - Trip to Obereggen: Skiing and sledding
That day we leave Val di Fassa for a while and go together by coach to the Obereggen ski resort.
Skiers will find new trails to discover, while those who enjoy other winter activities will be able to take advantage of the specially prepared toboggan run.
The plan also includes a shared lunch at the restaurant at the lower station of the resort, and upon return, dinner at Camping Vidor.
Wednesday, March 10 - ski touring and après-ski with a DJ
Skiers can spend another day on the slopes, while those looking for a bigger challenge will have the opportunity to participate in a guided ski touring trip.
This option is for experienced skiers who want to try a more challenging form of mountaineering. Ski touring is available for an additional fee.
In the afternoon and evening, we'll be transported to a completely different atmosphere! We'll be hosting a CampRest après-ski party with a DJ, music, and snacks at the campervans.
Anyone who has already been on a winter trip with us knows that such meetings can be just as successful as a whole day spent on the slopes!
Thursday, March 11 - Snowmobiles, Tastes of Tyrol and Pizza Party
Another exciting day awaits us. In addition to traditional skiing, we've planned a snowmobile excursion, combined with a guided walk.
Lunch with regional Tyrolean delicacies will be waiting for us at the mountain hut.
Upon returning to Camping Vidor, there will be a tasting of Trento DOC sparkling wines, typical of the Trentino-Alto Adige region.
At the end of the day, we'll gather at the campsite restaurant for a Pizza Party. It's the perfect opportunity to share the day's experiences over delicious food.
Friday, March 12 - Bellamonte, sleigh rides and farewell dinner
To conclude the active part of our trip, we've prepared another coach trip. This time, we'll visit the Bellamonte ski resort.
As in Obereggen, there will be opportunities for skiing and sledding on a specially prepared track. At noon, we'll meet for lunch at the restaurant at the valley station.
In the evening, we'll return to Camping Vidor for a gala farewell dinner. It'll be a time to reminisce, chat, and wrap up our winter week together.
Saturday, March 13 - breakfast together and return home
On the last day, we'll meet again for a buffet breakfast. Then it's time to pack up the campers, say goodbye to the participants, and head back.
Or maybe then we will start planning our next winter trip?

Who is our winter camper trip for?
A CampRest winter trip is not only for people who want to ski from morning to night.
We welcome families with children, couples, groups of friends, and solo travelers. You don't even need to know anyone from previous trips. Shared dinners, trips, and events are a great opportunity to meet other caravanning enthusiasts.
The biggest advantage of our trip is that you don't have to plan every attraction yourself. We've prepared a diverse program, but at the same time, we leave you free to choose your activities. Everyone can spend their time at their own pace—skiing, hiking, or relaxing by the camper.
It's also a great opportunity to see what winter caravanning in the Dolomites is like and how many possibilities there are to travel by camper even outside the summer season.
