It doesn't matter whether you relax by the sea, a lake or in the mountains. If you like camping, you probably would like it to have a swimming pool. Or maybe you choose mainly those that have a swimming pool complex? Or are they located next to large water parks? If you answered "yes" to at least one question, this article is for you.

It is hard to deny that the water park at the campsite attracts vacationers. They visit it not only on hot days. Water parks are a huge (sometimes literally) tourist attraction, so it is not surprising that campsites are concentrated near them. You will often find spectacular slides or other water attractions on the premises. You will encounter this type of places in the country, e.g. in Łazy (Holiday Golden Resort), as well as outside Poland. In this article, we will briefly introduce several foreign campsites with a water park.

Camping with a water park in the Netherlands

We will move to the next place in Slovenia, to a village called Podčetrtek. Camping Natura – Terme Olimia provides guests with accommodation and entertainment here. And now we will come to hot Spain, near Alicante. La Marina Camping & Resort is located in a town called Torrevieja. It is a large facility ideal for family holidays. We will stay a little longer in the next country. Make yourself comfortable, because you're about to hear a story about some interesting campsites in Italy. We are still in noisy, sunny Italy. Two tourist resorts in Cavallino Treporti present their offer to guests. There are, among others: artificial lagoon (300 m²), shallow area for toddlers, covered and heated swimming pool and 3 slides. There is a river flowing nearby, so if you prefer contact with water in the bosom of nature, no problem.

Camping Le Vivier awaits its guests in New Aquitaine. It has several pools of different depths, and is located relatively close to the lake. Lovers of natural water reservoirs will reach the shores of Cazaux-Sanguinet in 5 minutes. The center is especially popular among lovers of active recreation among nature. It is located adjacent to the seaside resort of Biscarrosse-Plage, famous for its surfing spots. Do you like water sports? Consider coming here, especially since the facility advertises itself as inexpensive.

Campsite with a water park in Occitania

A campsite with a water park in Occitania has already appeared on our long list. But we have five more centers located in this region for you! You will love the first one if your dream is to go to the Maldives. You don't have to go that far to relax in a house on the water. Just book your accommodation at Vias Plage. Camping Club Farret Yelloh! Village , because this is what we are talking about, will not let you forget about it. It should be at the top of your vacation list. It has 2 swimming pools with off-season heating and 1 swimming pool with slides.

The location of the campsite is one of its greatest advantages. Vias Plage is a bustling town with perfectly organized tourist infrastructure. You can eat there, sightsee or otherwise spend your time there. Nearby there is the Fabrikus World - Europark Vias Plage amusement park, open from April.

Another site, Camping Yelloh! Village La Petite Camargue , located in Camargue, near Aigues-Mortes. In Polish it means Dead Waters. The term comes from the salt marshes of the Rhône delta. The sandy beach of Le Grau-du-Roi is approximately 4 km away. During the season (July-August) there is a free bus. Montpellier is 25 km away.

Camping is definitely a child-friendly place. There are animations for children and adults, including sports competitions and dance evenings. There is also an outdoor swimming pool with slides and a jacuzzi. The youngest guests have a mini club and a playground for themselves.

When listing child-friendly campsites, it is impossible to ignore the center located in Lattes. L'Oasis Palavasienne has 2 heated swimming pools and a separate one for children. It is also heated. In addition, it is worth mentioning 3 slides and a friendly and, above all, creative team of animators. They come up with lots of games in water and on land. You can play water football or take part in an aqua aerobics or aquabike session. The beach in Palavas-les-Flots is 3 km away, which is covered by a free camping bus in summer.

We still have two noteworthy places left in Occitania. The penultimate one is Camping Club Les Tamaris , located in Le Barcarès. This is an extremely popular family resort with a rich offer.
