If you plan to spend your vacation in Croatia and you love sunbathing as much as splashing in the water, you should consider coming to the island of Krk, where Baška Beach Camping Resort is located. It is a large facility tempting with numerous amenities, and above all in a great location - it lies in the western part of Vela Plaža in Baška, one of the most popular beaches in Croatia. You will find everything you can imagine on vacation.

The resort belongs to the Camping Adriatic - Valamar chain, previously known as Zablaće Camping Resort. From 2019, it offers guests new attractions.

Vacation overlooking the sea

I must admit that Baška Beach Camping Resort really has something to be proud of. In addition to its location by the famous beach and the immediate vicinity of the Baška promenade, it attracts tourists with captivating views of the surrounding hills and the turquoise sea. In 2019, the offered attractions were supplemented by another - a new swimming pool and a water park for children. The little ones will be able to splash in the water, jump under the sprinklers and have fun on two slides, while the parents will lie down on the sun loungers in peace to watch their children's games. The depth of the pool for the youngest is from 0.3 to 0.6 meters, and the water temperature - 30 ° C. The adult pool is 1.30 meters deep and the temperature is 2 degrees lower. The pool will open in mid-June.

People who won't want to get out of the water don't have to. Their orders will be waiting for the Mezzino Pool Bar, offering an extensive menu of light snacks and drinks. By holding a glass with a palm in your hand and soaking in warm water, you can feel that you are on vacation of your life. In Croatia you can rest for all times.

Camping in Croatia _

The campsite invites guests to spacious pitches located right next to Vela Plaža (Premium Mare), next to the sea (Comfort Mare) or in the quieter part of the resort (Comfort), approximately 100 meters from the shore. There are also cozy mobile homes, including houses with a barbecue area and a covered terrace. Holidaymakers who choose this option have access to free Wi-Fi. Baška Beach Camping Resort also has an attractive offer for people who love comfort. Because why not afford the luxury of a hotel suite at the campground? Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen will welcome us in the comfortable Vela Bay Village and Marena Village cottages - all stylishly and with a sense of taste. The spacious interiors can accommodate four adults and two children. The icing on the cake is a charming terrace with sun loungers, where relaxation is a real pleasure.

In addition to the poolside bar, the campsite has a restaurant, pizzeria and fast food outlets. There is also a market and a bakery, guests can also buy fresh fruit and vegetables, newspapers and holiday souvenirs.

Rest on the beach

A few words of attention should go to one of the greatest attractions in the area, Vela Plaža . It is a beautiful natural pebble beach with a gentle entrance and a sandy bottom. Its length is 1800 meters. At the end there is a sector for dogs, so if someone comes on vacation with a pet, he can take him to this specially designated area.

Along the seaside promenade there are ice cream parlors, restaurants and bars where you can buy something for a snack or a cool drink. On the beach itself, we can rent a deckchair or umbrella (for a fee) to be able to indulge in blissful relaxation. Nothing prevents you from jumping into the water and swimming under the watchful eye of a lifeguard or trying your hand at water sports. The cleanliness of Vela Plaža is confirmed by the Blue Flag .

The beaches of Vela Luka and Mala Luka as well as numerous smaller beaches in the area are also worth visiting. They can be reached on foot along one of the routes, or by taxi. It is a good idea to visit the island of Prvić, which belongs to the Šibenik archipelago. It is situated 800 meters southeast of Krk.

Istria - idyll at your fingertips
Croatia has been tempting and captivating with conditions conducive to relaxation for years - beautiful beaches, warm waters of the Adriatic Sea, cities filled with monuments, proximity to stunning nature and the possibility of active recreation. Idyllic holidays are almost at your fingertips, in Istria, 12 hours away from Poland. The country located in the north of the country will appeal to fans of caravanning with family and friends. Find out why below. Croatia, or rather the Republic of Croatia, is a country located in central Europe on the Adriatic Sea. It borders Slovenia to the west, Hungary to the north, Serbia to the north-east and Montenegro to the south-east. In the middle of the country, in its eastern part, there is also a short border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. Croatia is inhabited by around 4.5 million people and covers an area of 56 535 km2. The capital city is Zagreb and the official currency is the Croatian Kuna. The length of the coast, including the islands, is an impressive 5,835 km. It is worth knowing that the topography differs in the north from the south. The north is a lowland area with low mountains, while in the south you will meet mountains up to 2000 m above sea level. The highest peak in the country is Dinara, 1831 m above sea level. Interestingly, Croatia has a two-fold climate - on the coast it is a Mediterranean climate zone, with rainy winter and dry hot summers, and in the rest, temperate continental - with cooler summers and dry cold winters with possible snowfall.
