Camping Stadlerhof - Tyrol, Austria

Do you like Tyrol ? It is a special place for many mountain lovers. You can come back there all year round. And you don't want to leave the Austrian Stadlerhof Camping at all.

The family-run Sappl Camping Stadlerhof is located in the village of Seebühel near Kramsach. There are 6 lakes in the area, which are one of the warmest in Tyrol, which makes this place popular all year round.

Holidays in the mountains

It is a good location for lovers of swimming and water sports, as well as climbing and canoeing. If you are beginner skiers or are trying to spread your passion to children, the Alpbach ski area will meet your expectations 100%. Reither Kogel and Wiedersberger Horn have training routes and lifts prepared especially for children.

Although in Kramsach itself there are only 2 km of blue ski runs and two T-bar lifts, in the nearby Wiedersberger Horn area we can already find 44 km of runs . We have 13 lifts available, including 6 T-bar lifts, 5 chair lifts and 2 gondolas.

The longest descent is the 3 km long Inneralpbach Abfahrt with a 600 m difference in altitude. The most difficult descent is Hornboden at the middle station (FIS route), it is 1.5 km long and the altitude difference is 450 m. The difference in levels is 900 m, and the route itself is very varied. It leads through the forest, wide slopes and narrow paths.

Everyone will find something for himself

Camping Stadlerhof offers both pitches and apartments . There are definitely more of the former, as many as 130. The rooms with bathrooms are designed in the highlander style and can accommodate 2 to 4 people.

The areas for motorhomes and caravans range from 60 m2 to 110 m2, depending on the location. A standard place in a birch grove has an area of 60-80 m² . The price includes two people, a car, access to the pool, electricity (4 kWh), TV, water and sewage system. You can also choose a place in an ordinary square or in a terraced meadow.

The most impressive plots for large caravans and motorhomes are located on the sunny side of the hill , from where you can admire beautiful sunsets. The campground also offers the option of staying only one day, giving you a chance to rest during a larger escapade.

There are also sanitary facilities at guests' disposal, in which we can find shower cabins, separate bathrooms, a laundry room, a drying room, and even a special zone for pets.

Camping and hotel with a swimming pool in the mountains

The wellness area is worth paying attention to. It consists of various types of saunas, including Finnish and infrared, relaxation zones with sun loungers, a wonderful swimming pool with hydro massage and solariums, adapted to skin types. In summer, there are two paddling pools for children . There is also a large garden for people who prefer to relax without bathing suits. They are also free to use the swimming pool at certain times.

After an active day of skiing or trekking, be sure to go to the restaurant , which offers regional and Austrian cuisine. The youngest will be happy to use the large playground located on the premises of the resort.

Holidays by the lake

There are also plenty of attractions in the area. 650 m from Camp Stadlerhof is the lake Reintaler See . Those who do not like walking can easily reach it with the free bus. Picturesquely situated on a hill, you can admire the houses and farm buildings of the surrounding valleys in the open-air museum Tiroler Bauernhöfe in Kramsach. The largest rope park in Austria is located directly at the valley station of the Sonnwendjoch lift in Kramsach . Great fun for the whole family is guaranteed.

In the vicinity, you can also ride the beautiful Alpine road Grossglockner , which runs among the highest peaks. The views are breathtaking. And if you like mountaineering or just hiking in the mountains, you will definitely not miss the routes of the Hintertux Glacier .
