Andorra La Vella, meaning literally "Old Andorra", is the capital of the Principality of Andorra, a tiny country hugging Spain and France. In the so-called The Cabinet of the Seven Keys, located in the meeting room, holds the archives of the principality and symbolic keys to the seven parishes of Andorra. What else draws attention? Let's start with the fact that it is located in the Swiss city of Graubünden, at an altitude of 1,856 m above sea level, on the lake of the same name, and the history of skiing and winter sports began right here. The stories about this resort often repeat the phrase "first in Switzerland", and even "first ever": the first ice rink in the world, the first Alpine city with an electric tram, the first Swiss ski school ... In a word, history owes a lot to St. Moritz, and cultural and sports events attract famous and rich people from the so-called big world (athletes, showbiz stars, politicians).

Madonna di Campiglio is located in northern Italy, surrounded by the peaks of the Brenta Dolomites and the Presanella Dolomites. The town is known as the place of rest for princess Sissi herself, and today it is adored by winter sports enthusiasts. Every year, a team of alpine skiers and snowboarders meet here at the World Cup. Due to its location - 1,550 m above sea level - and gondola lifts open all year round, Madonna di Campiglio is the starting point for mountain climbing. You can drive here on scenic routes, most of which are easy to medium difficult. The exception is 3 Tre, the slalom world cup race track and the fast Amazzonia on the slopes of Spinale. The first Winter Olympic Games were organized in the resort, and the first mountain guide association was founded here. Snow, conquering peaks and the winter element - Chamonix is irresistibly associated with it. The world's longest cable car is also located here, running from the resort to the peak of Aiguille du Midi. It was established in 1920. With the cable car to Pointe Helbronner, the top of the Aosta Valley in Italy, you can travel across the entire Mont Blanc massif by cable car.

Les 2 Alpes is one of the largest ski resorts in the French Alps. After Chamonix, it is the second oldest ski resort and the largest glacier area in Europe. It is situated on the border of the northern and southern Alps, in the Rhone-Alpes region. It is most popular among families with children - it even received a special Famille Plus Montagne label, which is a symbol of a holiday destination recognized in France, intended mainly for them. It can also be proved by the large number of offers targeted at families. To say that it is worth coming here is definitely not enough - anyway, just say that Hintertux was named "The Best Glacier Ski Region in the World for 2011". The award was given to him by Skiresort.de, one of the largest online portals for testing ski regions. In the "Best Ski Region" category, Hintertux received 4.2 out of 5 stars, which is also quite an achievement.

In the middle of the Ski amade ski region there is a small alpine village that is part of the so-called the ski swing of the three valleys: Flachau, Wagrain and St. Johann in Pongau. The ski runs are sunny from the early hours of the morning, and the resort itself is home to the World Alpine Ski Championships. It is also the hometown of Olympic champions - snowboarder Manuela Riegler and skier Hermann Maier. It is Flachau, one of the main ski resorts in the Salzburger Land. After combining 5 smaller regions, which include 25 villages, a huge ski region has been created here, attracting thousands of fans of all kinds of winter sports every year, not only skiing. In total, in the entire Ski amade there are 860 km of ski slopes and 270 lifts. 177 km of slopes belong to Flachau, and the ski area covers 61 hectares. From the Flachauwinkel station, there is a chairlift towards Kleinarl, as well as gondola lifts towards Zauchensee, where there are slopes for more advanced skiers. Fans of hard skiing will also appreciate the area at Monte Popolo. It should be noted that most of the local routes are intended for people who like a more relaxed, even recreational ride.
