Novelties in the field of two-wheeler transport

Sawiko offers nearly two decades of solutions dedicated to caravanning enthusiasts - from the design and production of support systems to fastening systems. Since January 2012, the German manufacturer has been a company of the AL-KO group. The combination of the competences of both companies resulted in new proposals in the field of transport systems.

During Caravan Salon 2015, new products from both companies (Sawiko / AL-KO) were presented. All of them are a response to the needs of safe and comfortable transport of two-wheelers.

TRINEO - park the scooter with the remote control

The Trineo is a ramp for automatic loading of the scooter. The presented system, mounted in the garage of the motorhome, is the most comfortable solution on the market. The loading and unloading operation requires minimal effort, because after the ramp is extended and it is lowered, a two-wheeler with a maximum weight of 150 kg docks on its own thanks to an electric winch, controlled by a wireless remote control. The complete system weighs 22 kg and a space of 2000 x 500mm is required for installation inside the garage.

Universal transport platform - type LIGERO II and MIKRO

The new transport platform from Sawiko offers the greatest flexibility. Thanks to the modular design, it can be combined with single, double or triple rails while you wait. The platform dimensions are then: 1885 x 540 x 70 mm; 1885 x 720 x 70 mm; 1885 x 550 x 70 mm. All fasteners, including wheel chocks, are equipped with a practical ratchet system, which guarantees easy assembly / disassembly and tool-free loading / unloading operations.

Sawiko KAWA II - universal transport platform for vans

The new universal transport platform for vans offers greater flexibility. It is suitable for transporting up to three bicycles (also electric) or one scooter and one bicycle. The optional mounting rack can be easily removed to open the rear door fully. KAWA II is installed directly to the structure of the vehicle's supporting frame. Net weight - without mounting kits - is approx. 43 kg. The dimensions of the platform are 1,875 mm in length and 550 mm in depth.

TRAIGO 500 - a light and compact transport trailer with a load capacity of 350 kg

The model with an aluminum platform is a new proposition from Sawiko, although renowned AL-KO elements (drawbar and wheel suspension) were used in its construction. Due to its low weight - only 150 kg, it is simple and easy to use. Thanks to the rails integrated with the platform and optional bows, it is possible to securely attach the two-wheelers, locking them during transport by the wheels. The length of the trailer (including the short drawbar) is only 1.83 cm. The width (1,950 mm) guarantees its use by most vehicles used in motor tourism. Loading and unloading is facilitated by a low platform - only 640 mm above the ground.
