Concorde - a pioneer in the PREMIUM class

The history of the Concorde brand dates back 40 years. Over the decades, it has made a significant contribution to the development of the industry and is perfectly recognizable due to its remarkable design. Concorde is one of the pioneers of the whole segment of "liners", to which our western neighbors more and more often refer to the term "land yacht".

The target group are customers with very wealthy wallets - belonging to the ultra premium class is suggested by the shape of the vehicles, and then it is confirmed by the "WOW" effect we experience right after crossing the threshold.

Łukasz, thank you for accepting our invitation. Please tell me how the Concorde brand was adopted in Poland?

Introducing such a niche and expensive brand is always a challenge. We were counting on the fact that it might be difficult for us. However, I think we decided to present the Concorde in a timely and appropriate manner. Our strategy and the boom in the industry that favored us were of fundamental importance. At the moment, we can boast about a dozen sold / contracted vehicles, and we are constantly approached by customers interested in large, uncompromising motorhomes. This is a very good omen.

Concorde used to produce even VW-based campervans, now they are only very large vehicles. What does the manufacturer's model range look like?

True, Concorde is now associated with giants. Although owning any Concorde car requires the owner of a category "C" driving license, the manufacturer also offers relatively small and handy units.

The model range is opened by vehicles based on Iveco with a GVM up to 7.49 t. These are Credo and Carver based on Iveco Daily, the shortest of which measure less than 8 meters and respectively 321 and 345 cm high, and then the larger Charisma and Centurion (length from 877 cm and a height of 354 cm). The Cruiser series is also based on Iveco - cars equipped with alcoves - comfortable and practical cars for families. As a base, we can choose Daily with a brilliant automatic gearbox or a typical Eurocargo truck with a retarder, great brakes and powerful torque.

Lovers of really large equipment can choose from numerous Cruiser, Liner and Centurion systems, based on the Atego and Actros, i.e. purebred trucks. The Centurion based on the Actros is a true work of art. In the largest motorhomes, we can even find sliding-out wall systems, which additionally increases the usable area.

Which models are most liked by Polish customers and what can you say about them?

Recently, we can see that customers in Poland really love some of the models offered in a special way. Their preferences, however, do not differ from those observed by the manufacturer in our western neighbors. The most popular models are certainly the Carver 920 with a garage or the Centurion on Iveco in the 860 and 910 variants.

We also receive the first orders for a car, which we believe will be a sales hit - we are talking about new versions of the Charisma model. In fact, we do not need to convince anyone about the brand, because the quality defends itself. Few manufacturers approach the issue of insulation with such reverence - here we have 38 mm XPS insulation in the walls as standard and a total of 70 mm in the floor, floor heating is two-zone, which allows for a pleasant temperature in the living space and comfortable warmth in the bathroom. Even the troublesome stains on the walls have been thought of - Concorde uses special overlays along the tops of the walls, which prevents water dripping and the formation of not very attractive, dark streaks that can be observed by the competition. From general to detail, we have a really refined concept here.

In Düsseldorf, but also in Poznań and Nadarzyn, we had the opportunity to see some interesting news. What is worth paying attention to in the collection for 2022?

- I would like to refer once again to the impressive series Charisma. In the new models with the 860 and 910 markings (lengths of 877 and 927 cm, respectively), the manufacturer took care of several important modifications. The new standstill steering wheel removal system developed by Concorde no longer requires any tools, making it much easier to turn the driver's seat.

A lot has happened on the visual side - from the outside, many accents referring to the flagship Centurion model were applied. The attractive design of the LED rear lights is particularly noteworthy. Optionally, customers will be able to opt for electrically opened external flaps in Sensor-Touch technology without handles. The lack of handrails also affects the exterior of the body.

Lovers of good cuisine will not be disappointed. The hallmark of the Charisma model is an exemplarily laid out kitchen that offers plenty of work space , drawers and compartments. Customers will be able to order a dishwasher, as well as a combination of a 177-liter fridge-freezer with an oven. There will be a new towel radiator in the bathroom, and an optional, exclusive rain shower in the shower. The GVM of the basic version will be 6,500 kg.

Customers looking for luxury will surely find their dream vehicle in the Concorde offer. Timeless elegance from the outside and inside as well as the latest technical solutions with ultra-modern buildings make up a real masterpiece that cannot be passed by indifferently. In many ways, the interior of this prestigious brand of motorhomes resembles an exclusive hotel room rather than a recreational vehicle.
