Judging by the number of premium and ultra-premium truck motorhomes, as well as second-hand motorhomes imported from beyond our western border, a mentality revolution is taking place before our eyes.
Also, more and more rental companies decide to introduce such vehicles to their offer, which in the end must prove the demand. The most important reason by most customers is to eliminate the problem of the so-called "Overloading", that is, the troublesome excess of the permissible total weight of the vehicle.
Another is the comfort and space that luxury large cruisers offer while traveling. For all this to make sense, the infrastructure development should follow the growing interest in large cars. Indeed, more and more campgrounds and parking spaces in Europe are trying to adapt the conditions to the needs of cars often exceeding eight or even nine meters in length.

Majestic, technologically refined in every detail and uncompromising in terms of comfort - such associations are evoked by motorhomes of the cult German brand Concorde. Of course, they also have a proud price, but this is not the aspect we will focus on in this material.

It is 945 cm long, 240 cm wide and 346 cm high. Based on IVECO and powered by a 4-cylinder diesel with a capacity of 3 liters, the vehicle has a standard output of 180 HP and a torque of 430 Nm (option 210 HP and 470 Nm), and its gross vehicle weight is 7490 kg.
The payload parameter puts it at the forefront of the competition - the phenomenal 1,900 kg is an extremely decent value. Even taking into account that the additional equipment itself can weigh a lot, and the 900 kg Smart is traveling with us in the garage in the back, we certainly will not be forced to frantically change in luggage, counting every kilogram. We can also easily take with us a supply of water and drinks. In a word - premium class.
Royal conditions for the driver and passengers
The cockpit is a place where every driver will find himself without any problems. The integration of the Iveco dashboard and on-board instrumentation is a real masterpiece. The light upholstery of the seat gives an exclusive look, and the integrated switches and the screen of the multimedia and navigation system are very ergonomically arranged. Comfortable, air-conditioned and heated airplane seats have a wide range of adjustments. Of course, it is possible to turn towards the living room.
An invaluable help is the ability to remove the steering wheel , which increases space and freedom of movement. Our comfort on the road will be ensured by safety support systems, while maneuvering and parking will be significantly improved by a 360-degree camera that helps us control the situation around the vehicle "from a bird's eye view".
Above the cab you will find an optional, lowered bed with dimensions of 200x135 cm. The living room consists of an L-shaped sofa and a long seat opposite it, next to the entrance. In such conditions, six adults will comfortably sit.
The functionality of the kitchen and bathroom is an element of great importance to the Concorde designers. In the richest configuration, taking into account popular options, we gain fantastic conditions for preparing meals. In addition, in addition to a large, 177-liter refrigerator, you can also find a microwave oven, and a dishwasher in the kitchen block, which facilitates mobile life. The bathroom, or rather a bathing room, is another room just behind the kitchen. A spacious shower , a toilet and a décor radiating warmth and cosiness invite you to relax. A solid door on two sides, a rain shower, water heating or atmospheric lighting are fantastic and necessary additions to every "yacht on wheels".
The bedroom located at the back, the center of which is a comfortable bed measuring 157 x 200 cm, is a room worthy of a luxury hotel. Beautifully composed colors, decorative curtains and curtains, reading lights, wardrobes and cabinets surrounding the bed - everything is at hand. We gain comfortable access through stairs on both sides, without having to climb up or use a ladder.
In addition to its above-average payload, the 920G also impresses with the independence it offers on trips. Clean and gray water tanks have a standard capacity of 230 liters, on request it can be respectively 320 and 300 liters. The capacity of the on-board battery can be up to 400Ah, and in combination with a 150 A charger / booster and a sine wave inverter, you can power even a stationary roof air conditioning while driving.
2 solar panels with an efficiency of 210 W each will take care of recharging energy, especially when parked. In the field of electrics and on-board electronics, we still have many useful options in the price list.

Despite the weight and dimensions, Concorde car users, when asked about their driving experience, basically compare it with the ease of driving a passenger car, while praising the high driving position, excellent visibility and great support of assistance systems.
In addition to the aforementioned 360 camera, we can also use the adaptive cruise control with the function of a traffic jam, braking assistant or lane assistant. The optional, extremely comfortable air suspension with electronic chassis stabilization and auto-leveling is part of one of the recommended packages.
Functionally connected to the suspension is an advanced Bi-LED lighting system with automatic leveling and cornering lighting. All this translates into the safety and culture of driving this shapely colossus.
