Hobbies Optima

Hobby fills the gaps in its offer. In a separate article, we described the Vantana model, which will be the cheapest proposition of this brand. Optima is to fill the gap between the Siesta and Premium models. So it will be a medium-sized semi-integrated motorhome .

The car is to be available in four lengths : 599 cm, 673 cm, 698.4 cm and 738 cm, so everyone should find something for themselves. The chosen length will have the greatest impact on the spaciousness of the bathroom. In the shorter versions it will be a tight corner where the toilet almost merges with the shower tray, in the medium ones - the shower cubicle will look more like the home one, and in the largest - it will be placed in a room separate from the bathroom.

Optimie also has rich LED lighting - not only the cabinets are illuminated, but also the handle at the exit of the motorhome. The light was also above the side window (above the kitchen counter). The entrance door has an increased width, and the roof is made of a strong material resistant to e.g. to hail.

The 60 TH version looks interesting, with a shallow, but high garage , ending just below the roof line.

A total of 9 different Optima timetables will be available. Prices will start (in Germany) from 45,390 euros .

Burstner Ixeo Time

One of the main competitors of the Hobby brand presented the refreshed Ixeo line. It was Ixeo that was the first motorhome in history with a fold-out bed. Now it is electrically foldable and can be lowered to the level of the couches , thus serving as an additional place to sit during the day.

In addition, the Ixeo has grown in the middle - now passengers will have 9 cm more headroom (1.97 m).

Burstner will propose 6 different plans for this model, available in models from 599 to 749 cm. In the smallest model, the bathroom is located at the rear, in the longest - in the middle of the vehicle; it has a separate shower cubicle.

Ixeo Time prices start at 48,490 euros . and the purchase or rental can be made at in Katowice.

Roller Team Granduca

The Italian manufacturer decided to modernize, first of all, the design of its motorhomes. In the case of the Granduca model, both in the construction of the floor and walls, GFK material and polystyrene were used, eliminating the use of plywood susceptible to moisture.

However, what the Roller Team especially wants to attract to the refreshed model are new interiors. Compared to the German vehicles, the styling of the Italian manufacturer is more designer . In addition, customers can decide for themselves whether they prefer flowing lines and a round washbasin, or angular furniture and a rectangular washbasin.

A total of 13 versions of the Granduca will be available. Their prices are not yet known.

Carthago C-Compact Line

In this case, prices start from 68,900 euros . No wonder - we are dealing here with a fully integrated motorhome.

The 2015 model is to be slimmed down and also get a double floor . Lengths from 640 to 718 cm will be available.

Rapido Distinction

The basic version of the Rapido Distinction model will be even more expensive. In Germany, you will have to pay 86,100 euros for this French motorhome.

There are no wooden elements in the construction of the model, which means that the plywood has been replaced with plastic with elements of glass fibers. We will find wood inside, because Rapido uses natural materials in the production of furniture .

The interior also features leather upholstery and subtle lighting. For practical people, it may be important to know that the new model will have a floor with a double bottom , so there will definitely be space for additional storage.
