Camping Seiser Alm – Alpe di Siusi
Camping Seiser Alm has a fantastic location, just below the great Schlern massif. There is a lot to offer for active tourists around the campsite: mountain hiking , mountain biking, golfing and swimming are just some of the sports you can do in summer; In winter you can enjoy skiing, walking in the snow or cross-country skiing. The campsite is open almost all year round except November and December - it opens just before Christmas, so it is adapted for winter overnight stays. It has wonderful heated sanitary facilities with special washing rooms for children and babies. There is also a saltwater swimming pool - open from Easter until approximately October 15, with a water temperature of 27-29°.
Interestingly, they also have a machine for washing chemical toilet cassettes from a camper.
Is the campsite open year-round? Open from 20/12 to 02/11.
Attractions for children
This campsite is a great place for children. It has a wonderful wooden playground and a small zoo with animals such as rabbits, goats and pigs. There are animations throughout the year, as well as organized activities such as joint trips to the forest and mountains, art classes and even climbing classes.
I also mentioned earlier about sanitary facilities for children and babies.
What to see?
Each camping guest receives a Sudtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass card, which allows you to use public transport (trains, buses and ski lifts) in South Tyrol.
I especially recommend taking a ride on the panoramic Renon cable car , which will take you in the blink of an eye to the largest mountain pasture in Europe, or choosing the narrow-gauge railway of the same name.
I also recommend seeing the lake Laghetto di Fiè (German: Völser Weiher), as well as the towns: Castelrotto / Kastelruth, and Siusi allo Sciliar / Seis am Schlern
Caravan Park Sexten – Dolomites
Caravan Park Sexten is located at an altitude of 1,500 m above sea level. The campsite has swimming pools with thermal water , a large selection of saunas and spa and wellness treatments. This campsite is pet-friendly and there are several places to bathe your pets. There is also a dog-sitting service.

Attractions for children
The swimming pools are ideal for families with children. The water is specially heated to 31°C in the main pool and to 34°C in the paddling pool, where there is sand and sand toys for the children's safety and fun! Children can enter the sauna twice a week at certain times. The campsite has a climbing wall and a playroom open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. all year round. Children are under the supervision of an adult during this time.
What to see?
I recommend taking a walk along one of the many hiking trails . I especially recommend climbing to the top of Tre Cime di Lavadero , at the foot of which the campsite is located. If you want to see more beautiful lakes, there are two worth seeing nearby: Toblacher See and Lago di Braies.
Camping Spiaggia Molveno – Molveno (at the foot of the Dolomites)
Camping Spiaggia Molveno is located on the shore of Lake Molveno, at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level. It has a beach with a gentle descent to the lake. By the lake there is a large pitch for beach volleyball, tennis and football. You can rent mountain bikes , kayaks, SUPs and water bikes at the campsite. It is also possible to launch your own boat . Straight from the campsite you can go on a hiking trip in the area - Brenta Dolomites. It is an ideal place for trekking or Nordic walking.

Attractions for children
A large playground, ping-pong tables that are lit, so you can play even after dark. The paths at the campsite are asphalt, so children can safely ride roller skates, scooters or bikes.
What to see?
I especially recommend taking a gondola from Molveno to Pradel, and from there by chairlift to the La Montanara shelter. You can enter the gondola with a stroller, a bicycle or a dog, and from the height where Pradel is located, Lake Molveno looks amazing.
Camping Olympia – Dobbiaco
Camping Olympia is located approx. 3 km from the town of Dobbiaco and approx. 5 km from Lake Toblacher See and 11 km from Lago di Braies (Pragser Wildsee). If you like hiking, you will definitely like the Tre Cime di Lavadero massif, which you can access from the trail that starts at the campsite. The bicycle path leading to Linz also begins at the campsite - approximately 50 km. In winter, you can practice all kinds of sports here, but the cross-country skiing paths are especially worth visiting.

Camping Toblacher See – Drei Zinnen
Camping Toblacher See is located approx. 3 km from the town of Dobbiaco and approx. 5 km from Lake Toblacher See and 11 km from Lago di Braies (Pragser Wildsee). Camping Miravalle – Val di Fassa
Camping Miravalle is located 50 m from the center of Campitello di Fassa and close to Canzei (approx. 10 minutes' walk) and has a beautiful, panoramic view of the Val di Fassa mountains. The plots are large and have all amenities, including the possibility of draining sewage from the camper (only in summer). The campsite also has apartments for rent. The use of private bathrooms can be purchased with the plot.
Dogs are welcome here.

The campsite has a playground for children and a playroom with animations. There is also a babyroom , a special room for bathing and changing babies.
What to see?
This campsite is the perfect place to go skiing. In winter, there is a free ski bus to the Sellaronda ski lifts. Moreover, the campsite is close to the Col Rodella ski lift, thanks to which you can easily access the "Giro dei 4 passi" in the Dolomiti superski region. Sella, Pordoi and Marmolada – all these places are within easy reach. The campsite has rooms for storing ski equipment. A free bus also runs to Dòlaondes aquatic center (open only in summer).
Camping Catinaccio Rosengarten – Val di Fassa
Camping Catinaccio Rosengarten is located in Val di Fassa, at an altitude of 1,320 m above sea level, 200 meters from the center of the town. There are pitches and apartments at the campsite. You can access hiking trails straight from the campsite, and two buses provide free transfers to and from the slopes in the Dolomiti Superski area. It has new, heated toilets with hot water and a ski storage room with boot warmers. The ski lifts are approximately 1 km from the campsite.
Is the campsite open year-round? Open from 08/04 to 04/12.
Attractions for children
The campsite organizes evening entertainment programs with music and dance, as well as cultural meetings, table football and table tennis tournaments. There is an ice rink 50 meters from the campsite. During the season, an animator for children is provided.
What to see?
Go to Sellaronda. Go with your children to Piciocaa Park, or go to the Dolomia Baths or the Ladin Museum.
Camping Arquin – Lana
Camping Arquin has an area of approximately 1.5 ha and is located in the heart of the forest in the beautiful town of Lana in sunny South Tyrol. It has a new heated swimming pool open from March to mid-September, and camping guests have cheaper entries to the municipal swimming pool just 100m from the camping. The campsite has modern sanitary facilities with underfloor heating. It is possible to rent a private bathroom. This is definitely not the campsite we remember from years ago.

From 2019, children can enjoy a new paddling pool with a slide , a playroom with an animator, and a playground. The campsite has a room for bathing and changing babies.
What to see?
The cities of Merano (7 km) and Bolzano (20 km) are easily reachable by public transport - bus or train.
