Chausson, or "spirit of innovation"

For 2022, the Chausson brand presented a number of changes in its offer, both interior layouts and creating completely new series of bodies. Judging by the sales results for Polish customers, the most important information will be the continuation of the Titanium Premium series (the richest version of the equipment with an automatic transmission as standard). This series is offered on the basis of the Ford Transit with a 170 HP engine (and is the most frequently chosen variant in Poland). In addition to the top series in semi-integrateds, we also have the First Line base series (models offered only with a manual gearbox based on Fiat or Ford and the middle class Titanium VIP based on the Fiat Ducato (with a 9-speed automatic transmission as standard and a 2.2 140 HP engine),

Chausson 660 - an arrangement that has never existed before

Among the novelties for 2022 we can find the 660 model - in the series we get a semi-integrated car powered by a 170 HP engine based on Ford with a 6-speed automatic transmission and rich equipment. During the fair in Düsseldorf, we had the opportunity to see this model in detail. At first glance, you can see that we are not dealing with another "clichéd" system.

After entering the vehicle, attention is drawn to a huge living room with a sitting area for up to 8 people and a place for a 32-inch TV. We fold the lower sofas to form a double bed , while above it there will be room for another 2 people on a folding bed. The dimensions of the sleeping places are 125x195 cm and 160x190 cm, respectively. Next to the living room there is a functional kitchen separated by a glass partition with a refrigerator with a capacity of 135 l and a two-burner stove. Opposite you will find a wardrobe, and next to it, a sanitary module with a toilet and a folding wall with a sink mounted on it. After folding the wall, we get a comfortable shower cubicle.

However, what makes this system extraordinary is hidden at the rear of the vehicle - behind the sliding door you will find a garage, or in fact technical facilities, which can be accessed through large items, a service hatch on the right side of the vehicle or ... a full-size entrance door on the left. This means that we can functionally divide the motorhome into two zones (e.g. dirty / clean or luggage / living) with convenient access from all sides. This makes this model an excellent proposition for pet owners or amateurs of various types of sports, from cycling to skiing.

French compact, or semi-integrated Chausson S

The S series will be a new segment in the brand's model portfolio. It is distinguished by its 210 cm width than in the case of "traditional" motorhomes. It is an excellent proposition for people wondering about the campervan vs. traditional motorhome. With a smaller width and short lengths, we gain the agility in the city and in parking / campsites characteristic of a van while maintaining the high comfort and volume we know from full-size motorhomes. The new S series will be available in 2 interior layouts to suit different needs and tastes of customers.

The S514 and S697GA models are a compact proposition for couples and 2 + 1 families. The Chausson S 514 is a 599 cm long motorhome with a bed transversely positioned at the rear and a large garage, the height of which is also not a barrier thanks to the clever folding bed. Interestingly, it rises both in its rear part, allowing for e.g. an inflated SUP board to be loaded into the garage, and at the front, giving easy access to the wardrobe located under it from the inside of the vehicle.

The bigger brother ( model S697GA ), measuring 659 cm, is equipped with two separate longitudinal beds at the back. Both cars have identical kitchens and lounges allowing 4 people to sit comfortably. It is in the living room that we can set up an optional third sleeping place with dimensions of 90 x 185 cm. The starting price of both models will be attractive (from EUR 42,865 net) - the Ford brand base with a capacity of 2 liters and low excise duty is not without significance here. The S line will be available in one trim level - First Line

Integra 7020 for families

Both functionally and visually, we were delighted with the new product in the segment of integrated motorhomes - the 7020 model. The 720 semi-integrated vehicle is an extremely interesting proposition for families with children, for several reasons ... First of all, 5 people will find a comfortable place to ride here. , secondly, the living room is a huge room with sofas arranged in a "face to face" arrangement, third, at the rear of the vehicle, a bunk bed is placed transversely, which translates into a compact length of only 717 cm. The dimensions of the beds are 74x190 cm / 81x200 cm (bunk) and 130x195 / 160x190 cm (front). Of course, this novelty, as well as the others, for 2022 gained a new, attractive, exterior decor emphasizing the "Made in France" pedigree. By choosing the Titanium Premium model, we will also please the eye with the new design of the rear bumper, characteristic for this version of the equipment.
