Dethleffs Premium Liner - a motorhome for demanding customers

Here is the Iveco Daily in a version you hardly see every day. For the Dethleffs brand, the Premium Liner model is a showcase - so important that it comes off a separate production line, different from other motorhomes.

Technically, we are dealing with a modernized Iveco Daily 70 C17 with a 3-liter JTD engine with 170 HP. But you have to pay much more for it than for a van. Dethleffs offers a camping version of this vehicle with prices from 177,900 euros (in Germany).

Loaded like a truck

In return, we get a car that does not resemble its prototype at all - it resembles a neat bus rather than a delivery car. This association can be confirmed by the presence of large, externally accessible compartments located between two layers of the floor. A large garage , however, should dispel doubts - such a facility is typical for premium motorhomes.

A large amount of storage space is essential in a motorhome, even as large as a model that is 8.99 meters long, 2.32 meters wide and 3.5 meters high (interior height is less than 2.1 meters). The permissible total weight of Premium Liner is as much as 7 tons, and its load capacity is also not to be neglected - 1.685 kg!

We can find compartments in the interior wherever they could be placed. The shelves located on the sides of the bed base are inventive, as well as those set up in the living room, between the window above the couch and the driver's side window.

Big beds

The motorhome was designed for four travelers. The main bed can be one, with dimensions of 200x150 cm, or it can be divided into two single sleeping places (200x80 cm). The beds were placed on wooden frames and covered with foam mattresses.

A double bed is also placed under the roof in the driver's cabin. It is aesthetically integrated into the roof surface and can be lowered electrically . Its dimensions are 200x140 cm.

Small bathroom

The sleeping area is connected with the toilet area, which has a place for a small but separate shower cubicle with glass doors. The shower is connected to a powerful pump that allows you to obtain water pressure comparable to that of a domestic installation.

In the bathroom there is of course a washbasin, a chemical toilet, there are also mirrors and quite spacious cabinets. The radiator also functions as a hanger and a towel dryer .

This space can be separated from both the living room and the bedroom. And only then you can see how little space is left in this narrow range.

Good facilities

There are two large skylights in the lounge. In one of them, 6 -lamp LED lighting can be placed, in the case of the other, the lights are placed around the window.

Some models have a great-looking control panel in the form of three circular analog indicators with white dials and black hands . The rest of the interior design looks typical for motorhomes of this class, with leather upholstery (available as an option) lending the interior a luxurious character.

Liner Premium can make a good impression due to the equipment, although it must be admitted that many accessories require an additional fee. It is worth noting, however, that in this motorhome we can have a hood, dishwasher and coffee machine in the kitchen , and soft-closing drawers can be equipped with a central lock .

There is a 190-liter refrigerator integrated with a 35-liter freezer in the car. On request, it can have a steel door. The sanitary tanks are also large . The fresh water container can hold up to 320 liters (including the boiler - 100 liters), and the waste water container has a capacity of 222 liters.

Dethfless has created a successful camping car - original on the outside, practically equipped and well-made on the inside. Maybe it lacks some special fireworks, but you should definitely appreciate the rich equipment, spacious tanks and proven solutions. This motorhome should meet the expectations of even very demanding users.
