Niagara Falls ... Who has not heard of this huge and loud waterfall, almost deafening by the force of the falling water? Being so close, we cannot help but see it. It is about 300 km from Chatham-Kent , so getting there won't take long. On the way, we will pass another town called Woodstock . The name may be secondary, but it is certainly impossible to say that about the beautiful Oxford County Courthouse or Woodstock City Hall , or even about the picturesque Victorian houses, which are exceptionally numerous here. We will also pass Brantford , sometimes referred to as Telephone City for the sake of the famous resident, Alexander Graham Bell, the creator of the telephone. Another famous person born here is Wayne Gretzky , considered by some to be the greatest ice hockey player of all time .

During the Motor Show 2013, as part of the accompanying caravanning event, not only motorhomes were shown (we write about them in separate articles), but also accessories that are worth remembering when getting ready for a camping. Among the stands there was also the representation of the Dometic Group. The company presented both devices necessary for caravanning and practical gadgets. The first one can certainly include a pressure flushing toilet. The Model 972 has a tank full indicator. The tank has a capacity of 8.7 liters, which means that one filling is enough for 27 flushes. The device costs PLN 437.

Where to spend this exceptionally long weekend? Go to the seaside or to the mountains? Or maybe take a fantastic holiday by the lakes? There are plenty of possibilities, and one of them is a slightly original idea for visiting… rock towns. After all, a picnic should stand out with something - after all, it is the first occasion for a holiday in the year, which is not a holiday break, but a holiday in itself. It's also the longest weekend of the year, so why not come up with something special for this time?.

After the endless, tiring winter, most of us dream of rest and the so-called real vacation . We make plans in our minds to go somewhere sunny and beautiful, in our dreams we are already on the beach and soak our feet in warm water. The exceptionally long weekend that we can enjoy this year is an ideal opportunity not only to relax, but also to gain strength to… continue to enjoy the rest. And what's the easiest way to do that? It is a good idea to spend at least one day in a resort famous for its hot springs. There is no shortage of them in Poland - the famous thermal baths in Bukowina, Białka Tatrzańska and Zakopane attract tourists from all over the country.

Sun, rest, joy, vacation, relaxation - if you took a survey and asked people about associations with the above-mentioned words, most of the respondents would answer that they associate them with a stay by the water. And probably a lot of people planning a trip for a picnic will go either to our beautiful Polish sea or to the lakes, which we can also be proud of. For many years, tourists have been constantly amazed by the Land of the Great Masurian Lakes - a huge area, unique both in the country and in Europe. Every year, thousands of holidaymakers from Poland and abroad, especially from Germany, come here. The region is loved by fishing, water sports and ornithologists (including amateurs). There are many habitats of rare bird species in the area of the Great Lakes, including the black stork and the white-tailed eagle. A cormorant, considered a symbol of Masuria, also lives here. The region is so beautiful, rich in terms of nature and rich in historical monuments that visitors rarely manage to get to know all the attractions.

Pulling a caravan with a bicycle is unlikely to be comfortable. Both going uphill with a small house attached to a two-wheeler, and going downhill while the trailer is pushing the bike, can be difficult. However, the idea of a simple bicycle trailer keeps coming back, because such a solution would allow for really cheap and possibly fascinating travel. Therefore, models of caravans for bicycles appear from time to time at the same fair, where you can also see campers and car trailers. And although these bicycle models are rarely more than just concept models, they arouse quite a sensation.

Truma received the Reddot Design Award for its Industrial Design Award for its LevelCheck LPG tank level indicator and for its VeGA fuel cell system. This renowned award recognizes the successful design concept, the degree of innovation and the functionality of both Truma products. The LevelCheck level indicator measures the filling level of gas cylinders simply and reliably with ultrasound. After winning the Caravaning Design Award, this is the second award for this product. The VeGA system is the first fuel cell system to generate electricity from liquefied gas. It is one of the most efficient devices on the market with a power of 250 W and a charging current of 20 A.

During our trip, we touched the border with the United States several times. Now, however, we are heading directly towards it, to Chatham-Kent, a city that shares one of its lakes with the USA ( Lake St. Clair). The journey from Peterborough takes over four hours but we will make stops in some interesting towns along the way so understandably arrive later.

There were plenty of surprises at the 2nd Caravanning Salon. One of them can be considered the fact that among the companies showing campers, a large number were Polish producers. Our conversations show that this year, despite the crisis, they expect growing interest in caravanning in Poland.

We woke up before 9am local time. After opening the shutters, we were greeted by paradise: the sun, the sea and the view of the neighboring island, which resembles a volcano. After breakfast, we went for a walk around the area. There is one road along the island. The most popular means of transport is scooters, we also saw a stop, so you can also travel between places by bus. In Masouri, the coast is mostly rocky, but there are descents to sandy beaches. There are hotels / studios, shops, mini markets, restaurants and pubs in the street. All this at the foot of the rocks for which a lot of climbers have come here. In the morning we went to the Grande Grotto. You go there for about 20 minutes, encountering goats and sheep on the way, the sound of bleating and bells carried under the rocks. You have to remember to close the gates separating the pasture from the street behind you when you go out or down. The shade in the rocks is around 2pm, then the pan is made, for me it was the perfect time to go to the beach. From the side of the street, there is a very atmospheric sign pointing to the stairs leading to the beach. It is not the most beautiful, or maybe just not prepared yet.

Greece - day one

7 years passed from the idea to its implementation. A lot has changed during this time. Due to the tragic death of Mr. Robert (he died in a car accident), now Mr. Edmund runs the Unicamp company himself and tries to develop a project in which his brother was also involved in the past. Where did the idea for a floating trailer come from? For the originators - fishing enthusiasts - it seemed obvious. Since most fans of active recreation most like to spend their free time by the water, they should be able not only to spend the night in their caravans, but also to swim on the lakes!.
