Today, like the old Beetles, it awakens sentiments and is associated with the good old times that will never repeat themselves again ... Really? British brand from the Bristol area decided to combine business with pleasure. Usually, it remakes slightly newer Volkswagen models (Caddy and T5), but recently its biggest hit is the new, yet quite familiar, T2 model.

If we want to be sure that our navigation will certainly work well in a motorhome, we have two solutions to choose from. The first, more popular, is the choice of navigation designed with trucks in mind. The second variant is still not very popular navigation for vans. Admittedly, such a trip is not cheap, but with a little self-denial, saving skills and having organizational skills, you can spend a wonderful holiday overseas without having to take a loan.

A streamlined front, a dynamic-looking rear with sharply cut lights and an aluminum strip, as well as a gray print on the side wall - all this makes the Knaus Eurostar trailer look very modern (the manufacturer even calls it "3D optics"). You may also like black painted alloy wheels. Eurostar comes in three varieties, each 2.5 meters wide. The 500 EU model was designed with five passengers in mind. The total length of this trailer is 808 cm, but inside it is only 532 cm (the so-called effective length). The internal height is 196 cm. Those without cars also, but in their case you have to become dependent on public transport and look at your watch more often. However, if you have your own vehicle, after about three hours you can be in the beautiful Slovak city of Žilina. It is a metropolis located in the north-west of Slovakia, at the confluence of three rivers - Kysuce, Rajčianka and Váh. Žilina is not a large city, but undoubtedly the largest in the north-central part of the country. It is also beautifully restored, especially its historic center, which was thoroughly rebuilt in 1990. The historic buildings in this district belong to a historic reserve.

The American manufacturer has created the world's first bottle with a built-in filter that captures chlorine and other organic pollutants contained in water. This means that with such a bottle, we can take water from almost any tap and not worry about its chemical content. The filter works when you drink it to trap contaminants before the water escapes. The filter will clean it of everything that is unnecessary or unhealthy. One filter should be sufficient for 150 liters of water, i.e. for approx. 300 refills of the bottle. After this time, you can change the bottle to a new one or buy a new filter. The bottle is available with filters in six colors.

Anyone who complains about the expensive public transport is probably envious of Tallinn's inhabitants. As a reminder, from January 2013, persons permanently registered in the capital of Estonia can travel by public means of transport for free . You only need to buy a special green card for 2 euros and activate it via the Internet. It is debatable whether such an idea has a chance of success in any of our cities (e.g. in Warsaw, much larger than Tallinn, with a population of 420,000), which does not change the fact that the vision of free communication sounds nice.

Owners of "old" caravans will certainly think carefully whether such an expense will pay off for them, but the comfort during hot days seems to be worth a one-time, greater expense. The basic division of air conditioners concerns the place of their installation. We have a choice of roof and floor air conditioners.

The local group of monuments is so huge that the whole of Syracuse has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. It is completely understandable - at every step we encounter history here, one may even be tempted to say that it is in such places that our civilization was created. The past and the present are intertwined here, in the vicinity of the ruins from several centuries ago, we can see an intense flourishing of the city. An important element of Syracuse's economy is agricultural production (including the cultivation of almonds, olives and grapes) and two ports: Porto Grande and Porto Piccolo, connected by a canal separating Ortygia from the mainland.

From this year on, passenger cars with caravans were to be exempt from paying the e-toll. However, this did not happen. In Poland, every car with a permissible total weight of more than 3.5 tons and traveling on the toll road network must have a viaBox installed - a toll collection device. Unfortunately, this also applies to vehicle combinations, e.g. a car with a trailer, if the total permissible total weight of such a combination is higher than 3.5 tonnes. When the regulations were introduced, controversy was aroused by the information that this rule should also apply to caravans. Some politicians then spoke of a bug that will be quickly fixed. To the detriment of the fees, they do not apply to caravans in many European countries. This is e.g. in Germany, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Austria. And if so, then the fees in Poland may scare away many tourists who will easily avoid a country so hostile for caravanning enthusiasts on their route.

You cannot go camping without a viaBox

As a well-known advertisement says, "almost" makes a big difference. Its motive is not being satisfied with the substitute, just something similar. Meanwhile, a similar one can be as satisfactory as the original one, especially when, apart from a copy of the original, it also has other, typical values only for itself. If someone dreams of a trip to Venice, he should consider a city as beautiful as Italian, and a bit closer - go on a small trip to the coast of Slovenia and visit Piran. It is so close to the border that you can visit Italy while visiting Italy, and at the same time it is so beautiful that it fully deserves attention. The architecture of the resort is reminiscent of the buildings of Venice, as in the past it was a Venetian fortress on the coast of Istria. Most of the delicious buildings date back to that time, as well as the massive walls that separate the city from the rest of the land.
