Camping - a great idea for a vacation in Zakopane

Do you dream of a holiday in the bosom of nature surrounded by real wonders of nature? Away from busy streets and the hustle and bustle of the city? A holiday in rented wooden houses in one of the most beautiful cities in Poland - Zakopane, may be a hit. Regardless of whether you plan to come here in summer or winter, Zakopane will certainly not disappoint anyone. A must-see for anyone visiting Zakopane for the first time is the famous viewpoint, Gubałówka. You can organize a walk to the top of this beautiful mountain, which is not the easiest one, or take a special cable car. If you decide to go for a walk, you must take at least an hour to travel along the trail, which is very well marked. If you choose the cable car, you will be at the top in just 5 minutes. The views you can observe from the top are truly unforgettable. You can see practically the entire panorama of the beautiful Polish Tatra Mountains and even parts of the Slovak range. On Gubałówka you will find numerous inns and restaurants where you can rest and relax. Children will also find attractions - there are plenty of playgrounds and souvenir shops. Entire families can decide to ride the gravity lift in carriages or visit one of two rope parks. When visiting Zakopane in August, you should not miss the colorful and beautiful Folklore Festival. There we can see performances of folklore groups from all over the world who fight for the "Golden Ciupags". This is a real celebration for Zakopane, during which you can learn more about the native tradition and outstanding work. There are also numerous accompanying events during the festival, such as concerts, photography competitions and a folk art fair. Animal lovers will be able to admire beautiful highland dogs during the Tatra Sheepdog Exhibition, and children will certainly have a nice time taking part in numerous animations. Every evening, orientation bonfires are organized, during which you can get to know the participants of the performances. What to do in Zakopane when it rains? You certainly don't have to be bored! You can visit numerous swimming pools and thermal baths located in the city and surrounding areas. A source of great joy for entire families is a modern water park with a view of the Tatra Mountains. You will find two indoor swimming pools with recreational jets, water cascades, counter-currents and underwater loungers. There are slides and interactive animal toys for children. Adults will certainly find the relaxation they desire in the Finnish or brine sauna, steam bath or relaxation room.
