This is Belgrade, the capital of Serbia and one of the popular destinations for party lovers until dawn. For some, a stopover in Belgrade is just a stopover on the way further south, for example to Greece. For others, it is a loud, vibrant and dancing place like Berlin or London. It is enough to spend one day here to find out that the capital of Serbia is a large and surprisingly modern city.

Lefkada is one of the most beautiful islands in the Ionian Sea. It is surrounded by turquoise waters flowing into picturesque bays with clean, loose sand. It is mountainous and covered with citrus trees, cypresses, olives and almond trees. Every Greek island is beautiful, but there are some that leave you in awe and speechless. There are those on which life flows so quickly and so intensely that they twinkle in the sea like constellations, blinking their lights until late at night. Lefkada is just such an island - it does not sleep, and everyone will find their place there, regardless of whether they came to relax on the beach, face the waves while windsurfing or sailing.

For a romantic walk among rustling leaves, you can go to one of the most beautiful places located right on the border with Germany - to Muskau Park (Muskau Park). It is a vast national treasure, or rather a treasure of two countries, as it was shared by Germany and Poland. The Nysa Łużycka river flowing through it forms a natural border between two countries, and the whole is connected by bridges thrown over the river: the English Bridge, the Double Bridge and two park bridges.

Roros is called the pearl of the Trondelag. It enjoys a somewhat dark fame of a haunted place, and the atmosphere is added to it by the original wooden buildings. We find them in Norway, close to the Swedish border. There are beautiful and interesting places, and there are also places that combine both of these features. When it comes to Roros, one may wonder if it is beautiful, but no one will deny him originality. It is a mining town located in the region of Norway, which is not one of the most popular tourist destinations - in its middle-eastern part. Despite the fact that it is not a very crowded place, you can get to it without any problems. Tourists going from Trondheim will reach Roros after a 2-2.5-hour drive, while those who wish to come from Oslo will take 4-5 hours.

They call it one of the most beautiful beaches in the Aegean Sea. They say that Cleopatra would not bathe anywhere else if she discovered this place in front of another Turkish beauty, the star of the Turkish Riviera who bears her name. Iztuzu is stunning with her beauty, and reaching her requires a lot of effort. However, it is more than appealing to anyone who devotes the time and energy to get to know this beautiful beach. It extends in one of the greenest areas in Turkey, about 40 km from Dalaman. It is 6 km long and forms a strip separating the Mediterranean Sea from the mouth of the Dalyan River, which flows from a nearby lake, then spills out into a wide delta and flows into the sea by the beach. Iztuzu is wide and sandy, it also has a very gentle descent into the water. In the off-season, it is rather quiet here, so you can relax and enjoy the unique beauty of the area.

The walls of the stronghold against the background of mountain massifs, the lush green of the hills wrapped in ribbons of rivers - this is Georgia, a welcoming and beautiful country, although a bit austere. Tourists can enjoy delicious cuisine and an exciting journey into the past. For many people, Georgia is still too exotic and distant to go there for a short break or a longer vacation. On the other hand, more and more people are interested in its attractions and give up Spanish or Italian beaches in favor of impressive hills resembling the backs of giants. They are not even put off by the fact that Georgian weather can be really capricious and treat tourists with a lashing cold wind. Not to mention the restrictions when planning the route - we will not designate it through the Caucasus due to the closed border crossings with Russia and not very safe breakaway regions that you would have to cross.

When older people associate a nice-sounding name with the times of the Polish People's Republic, younger ones may wonder in which part of Poland the described city lies. Meanwhile, this resort is the largest resort in Bulgaria, sometimes referred to as Las Vegas of Eastern Europe. Sunny Beach is located approx. 35 km north of Burgas. It is the country's most popular resort. The fact that it has been attracting tourists to the Black Sea coast for years is evidenced by the number of hotels in it - there are several hundred of them here. There are not much less restaurants, about 150.

Karlskrona is a charming Swedish city spread over 33 islands in the Blekinge archipelago. A walk on it is an unforgettable experience, because every now and then we find ourselves on a different island. You can eat dinner in one of them, play in the club in the other, and spend the night in another. The most important part of the city is on the island of Trossö, which also has a port with a shipyard. The entrance to it is guarded by two forts with perfect fortifications, after all, in the intention of its founder, King Charles XI, it was to be a powerful sea gate, resistant to attacks by enemy troops. Apparently, the Swedish king consulted the pirates, seeking guidance from them as to the choice of the most strategic place for the navy. He made the right decision - the city that owes its name has never been conquered either from the sea or from the land.

Let's go to Figueres, a city where lived an artist who called himself "Surrealism is me!", Who believed that all Picasso's works are worth less than one of his. Let's visit the museum of Salvador Dali, the genius in love with himself who came up with the Chupa Chups logo. When planning a trip to Spain, it is worth taking a 1- or 2-day trip to Catalonia. There is something absolutely unique here, something that evokes admiration, anxiety, maybe even in some sense disgust, but it certainly will not leave anyone indifferent. In the small town of Figueres, there is a museum of Salvador Dali, the master of surrealism, the father of the "Flaming Giraffe", "Leaking Clocks" and other paintings, where you stand today with a pensive face entitled "What did the poet mean?".

Portuguese Coimbra is a city where smoking ribbons is a great celebration. It used to be the capital of the state, and today it tempts with the charm of old universities, a seed bank and the Garden of Tears. What else?. Coimbra is the third largest city in Portugal. Like our good Krakow, it is famous for its large number of students, and the university here is the oldest university in the whole country. It is impossible to miss the Universidade de Coimbra building - it towers over the city, dignifiedly located at the top of the hill. The city itself huddled at his feet, gently cut by a Mondego ribbon called the River of Poets.

Istria smells of olives and vines. The beautiful Croatian peninsula is visited by thousands of tourists each year, and the local hotels and guesthouses can accommodate over 100,000 people. The lagoons of Istria tempt with the blue and clean water, the beaches invite you to sunbathe, and the pine trees on the shore to relax in the shade. It is the pine trees, specifically the 70-kilometer stretch covered with pine trees, that the area owes its name to - the Pinia Coast. Istria is the largest Croatian peninsula. Its shape resembles a heart, and the name comes from the Illyrian tribe that inhabited these areas for the first time. Many remnants of a turbulent history have survived to the present day. Tourists can see, among others historic urban buildings, numerous sacred buildings (including basilicas), as well as ancient buildings such as the amphitheater in Pula.

If someone dreams of such a vacation, he will find a place where he can recharge his batteries so that he will have enough energy until next year. The Greek island of Lefkada enjoys a well-deserved reputation as the one with exceptionally many beautiful beaches. The sand belts hidden among the rocks are located in so many places that, despite the relatively small size of the island, it is difficult to explore them all.
